If I had all the money I have given away to people, including my own parents, I would be able to buy a house instead of living in a trailer. However, a long time ago, I made a decision that if I "loaned" a book to someone, I was really giving it to them, without the expectation of getting it back. Very rarely did any of these books come home, but because of my decision, I felt okay about it. The money issue has been harder to deal with, partially because of my health and other circumstances. But I think you were very smart in the second situation with your sister and her new hubby to get something in writing. I have watched Judge Judy enough to know that I wouldn't have a leg to stand on in trying to get back any of the money I have loaned or given away. Yet, in another sense, money is a form of energy, and we are sharing energy all of the time. So I think that, one way or another, the goodness of your intention will come back to you in the form of some type of positive energy. Jai Maa ~ Linda Quote
