I have always known fasting to be from sunrise to sunrise.

The degree of fast would be dependent on the person how much he/she can endure.

It is more important to remember Ram and his virtues. Every little step is good on this auspicious day

When must one fast until on this auspicious day?

What day is a good (auspicious) day to fast?

I usually do it on Tuesdays and Fridays.

It's already past, so a little late to bring this up, but for some reason the Mayapur calendar says fasting till noon and the online ISKCON calendar says fasting till sunset. I believe Prabhupada had said both at different times.
