I think He would rest His right hand on His hip and give a heroic smile then! He probably nonchalantly feasted with His friends using His right hand as though nothing was happening all through the ordeal. Of course, He did not even need to use any hand or any arm, but for the purpose of lila He elected to use the least of them, demonstrating His vast superiority over the demigods. Guest guest Posted August 17, 2004 Report Share Posted August 17, 2004 I'm not saying any of you guys are wrong or right but i was listening to a lecture from the Bhagwatam and the reason why Krishna held Goverdhan with His left hand is because that side represents Radha, His shakti. So although it looked like Krishna was lifting the mountain it was combined with Radha. I hope i have explained that well and hasn't confused anyone.
