PN Prasad 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2003 "There are only two relationships in which the mind can mind can burn, vanish, and dissolve---that is, surrender. And these two types of relationships: one is of servant, being a servant; as a servant, one can burn, vanish, dissolve. Another, as beloved; as beloved, one can burn, vanish and dissolve." Which one do you want?

PN Prasad 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2003 Do you want to surrender to Krishna or do you want to be Krishna's beloved?
PN Prasad 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2003 I know my question is quite confusing, because once you are His beloved you will obviously surrender fully. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Krsnanatha 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2003 From the Acharyas that as soon as we say "I want", in any context, even a seeming spiritual desire such as "I want to go back to Godhead" some taint is cast. The words "I want" report the existence of some remnant order giver mentality. Full surrender means cent percent order taker. Ideal is full surrender. Plain and simple, "Here I am! I am yours Krsna, do with me what you will!" We need not worry about we want, as surrender becomes free of reservation from our part, Krsna's reciprocation will far exceed our small ideas of what we may think we want. Krsnanatha 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2003 Without delay indeed, for as Srila Rupa Goswami Prabhupada so kindly reminded us of the obvious, not even a second of wasted life can be purchased back, even with all the wealth in the universe.
