srinivas Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 i am confused about tirupathi , which yuga avatar is lord srinivasa. He is one of the most wonderfull avatars of lord vishnu. I think even balaram and krishna themselves have visited this holy shrine.Does anybody have evidence. Quote
Jahnava Nitai Das Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 Balaji is a kali-yuga avatara from a previous age. You can hear about His history here: http://www.atmatattva.com/tirupati-balaji.htm And some other information and pictures are here: http://balaji.sudarshana.org Quote
vanamali Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 Balaji is considered to be an incarnation of Sriman Narayana, but if you look closely, He has only two arms. He has the shankha and cakra sitting on His shoulders... There are lot of different stories about Venkatesha's descent to Venkata, but there is no doubt in my mind who He *really* is... Govindaaaa Goooovinda!!!! Quote
