Vaks(u) (sarasvati) is same as oxus. Drisdavati is same as Jaks-sar(i)tes. Jaks is a corruption of caksu or aks which both mean eye as does drishda. The one river signifies speech, the other sight. (Relationship with Ik-svaku perhaps?) Quote
