livingentity Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 This is the second good news I have heard in the past couple of days. The other is that McDonald's continues to have big problems and is losing money and business!! Cows of the world unite!! Moo on!! Quote
stonehearted Posted February 21, 2003 Author Report Posted February 21, 2003 If Vajpayee can pull of banning cow slaughter throughout India, you'll see me warming up to the BJP at least a little. If they claim dharma is their driving force, let 'em bring some back. ahimso paro dharmah Quote
Gauracandra Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 I don’t know Indian politics, but if this Vajpayee does in fact ban cow slaughter in India, then I say he should be put up for sainthood. The few programs I’ve seen with him, he seems like a very nice, well spoken individual. Again, I don’t know Indian politics, but he’s got my vote if he does get rid of cow slaughter. Quote
