Suicide bomb mastermind gets 26 life sentences A Palestinian who masterminded suicide bomb attacks in Jerusalem has been given 26 consecutive life sentences. Israeli military court decided that Muaid Said, 31, should serve full life terms for each of 21 Israelis killed in two 1997 attacks. Said was also given life term for each of 5 Palestinian bombers whom he sent on missions. Said planned bombings a year after he joined Islamic resistance movement Hamas, military prosecutor told judge. "It's notable that, according to his world view, life has no worth and there's no meaning to fact that 26 souls found their deaths in these two grave incidents," wrote judge in his decision. Said said bombings were "natural reaction" to Israeli government's crimes against Palestinian people. "My belief in God is greater because judgment it is his decision, or found in his hands, and not in hands of court," Said said. "I'm a firm believer." Producers thought & predicted: "Amerikans prefer radio because they are very active; they can continue to do their daily chores while listening. Amerikans are much too busy to sit down & watch TV." While still under contract with Paramount, Bob Hope began to appear on TV more & more. His Film bosses asked him why he was bothering to perform on Television. Hope replied: "I heard TV is the latest medium." His bosses looked up dictionary meaning of the word 'medium': "A means of bringing the dead back to life."
