4.4.13 tanvabhave sandhyavad upapatteH

of body, in absence, dream-like, it being possible

Due to reasonableness, even in body’s absence, Mukta enjoys objects as in dream-state.

550

4.4.14 bhAve jAgradvat

in existence, as awake

When there is body (then pleasure is more intense) as in waking state.

551

4.4.15 pradIpavad Avezas tathAhi darzayati

Mukta soul’s pervasion (in every object & his thus knowing each object) is like that of lamp, for scripture declares it so.

4.4.16 svApyaya sampattyor anyatarApexyam AviskRtaM hi

deep sleep, pre-death moment, any 1 of 2, referring/regarding, manifest/declared, because

(Br Up 4.3.21) refers to either deep sleep or death swoon-state (not referring to Mukta’s condition), because scripture has made it clear.

553

4.4.17 jagad vyApAra varjyaM prakaraNAd asannihitatvAt

world, energy, without/precluding, from subject matter, due to non-proximity

(Mukta has all powers) save & except ability to create universe, due to context & distance (debar any other view).

VedAnta-sUtra IV

One famous guru and/or his followers is busy preaching that muktas, being above devas = demigods, can create universes.

VeDAnta-sUtra herein does not agree.

4.4.18 PratyaxopadezAn neti pratyaxopadezAn neti cen nAdhikArika maNDalasyoktaH

direct, due to (direct) teaching; not, so, if, not; those entrusted with special function: world ruler, office-bearer, like BrahmA; of those abiding in spheres; due statements

If it be objected this is not so, because there is direct scriptural teaching (Mukta becomes creator), we reply, no, it is not so. Why? Because those texts declare (Muktas enjoy pleasures) in world-rulers spheres.

555

4.4.19 vikArAvarti ca tathA hi sthitim Aha

in worldly life = change; not existing; Brahman = that in which change does not exist; and; of that kind; because; abiding, position; says

(Mukta ever abides in) That which is changeless, for Zruti has also declared such abiding.

CapItulo Nove – O Conhecimento Mais Confidencial

Shouldn’t practicA-lo be instead practicar-lo = o infinitivo?

Observa Minha opulEncia mIstica!

ZrIla ZrIdhardev considered these last 2 zlokas to be the most revolutionary statements in all of history.
