I didn't realize, until I was told in the last few weeks, that there was 'controversy' regarding him and Srila Bhaktisiddhanta. Whatever the history, he was a Vaisnava and so should be respected. Jagat Posted June 9, 2001 Report Share Posted June 9, 2001 It is said that he was a disciple of Siddhanta Saraswati, but I believe that he considered his "official" initiating guru to have been Gauranga Das Babaji, a disciple of Ram Das Babaji and grand-disciple of Radha Raman Charan Dasji. He used to introduce various Western candidates interested in initiation to various babajis from the Nitai Gaur Radhe Syam line. Hey, Jijaji, where have you been hiding?
