How to get devanagari (Hindi) script

from the sankrit web page of omkarananda asrham

downlaod free sanskrit99 and ITRANS.

 

Then install it on you ccomputer.

When you run this application, it gives two windows one above the other.

 

in the top window you write raamaa (or rAmA)

and in the bottom window it will give the name is devanagari script (sanskrit99 font) which you could cut and paste in a word file if you want.

 

it also gives a table showing what to type to get what devanagari charcter.

I guesss there wont be anymore requests to translate thier names into devanagiri lipi.
