(PTI):To mount pressure on the Centre to secure the release of Kanchi Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati, thousands of sadhus and sants would lay a siege at New Delhi on Nov 19, it was announced here today. In this march, activists of VHP would also participate, mahamandaleshwar of Niranjani Akhara Swami Ramanand Puri told reporters after an emergency meeting of top seers convened here this evening to work out further course of action in view of arrest of the Kanchi seer. Describing the UPA government at the Centre as "anti Hindu', he said the sadhus and sants would visit every nook and corner of Delhi on November 20 and 21 for creating mass awareness on the issue and organize a public meeting at Ramalila ground on November 22. Lakhs of sants from across the country are expected to take part in the Ramleela ground meeting, he said. He also asked the government to enact a law banning the entry of police in temples and mutts.
