it does not matter where you (speaking in general term) are born. if you follow the vedas, then you do not-only what this verse says but also many other things krishna has said in gita.

 

prahpad was born of an asura, but he was a vedic person (arya or hindu, a krishna devotee). so he defied his fahter.
