Mantras are always given throughtout the different Ages, some are more potect than others, but the composition of the Maha-Mantra is unsurpassed. -Me

An explanation on The Maha Mantra

This transcendental vibration--by chanting of Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare--is the sublime method for reviving our Krsna consciousness. As living spiritual souls we are all originally Krsna conscious entities, but due to our asociation with matter since time immemorial, our consciousness is now poluted by material atmosphere. In this polluted concept of live, we are all trying to exploit the resources of material nature, but actually we are becoming more and more entangled in our complexities. This illusion is called maya, or hard struggle for existence over the stringent laws of material nature. This illusory struggle against the material nature can at once be stopped by revival of our Krsna consciousness.

Krsna consciousness is not an artificial imposition on the mind. This consciousness is the original energy of the living entity. When we hear the transcendental vibration, this consciousness is revived. And the process is recommended by authorities for this age. By practical experience also, we can perceive that by chanting this maha-mantra, or the Great Chanting for Deliverance, one can at once feel transcendental ecstasy from the spiritual stratum. When one is factually on the plane of spiritual understanding, surpassing the stages of sense, mind and intelligence, one is situated on the transcendental plane. This chanting of Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare\/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare is directly enacted from the spiritual platform, surpassing all lower states of consciousness--namely sensual, mental and intellectual. There is no need of understanding the language of the mantra, nor is there any need of mental speculation nor any intellectual adjustment for chanting this maha-mantra. It springs automatically from the spiritual platform, and as such, anyone can take part in this transcendental sound vibration, without any previous qualification, and dance in ecstasy.

We have seen it practically. Even a child can take part in the chanting, or even a dog can take part in it. The chanting should be hears, however, from the lips of a pure devotee of the Lord, so that immediate effect can be achieved. As far as possible, chanting from the lips of a nondevotee should be avoided, as much as milk touched by the lips of a serpent causes poisonous effect.

The word Hara is a form of addressing the energy of the Lord. Both Krsna and Rama are forms of addressing directly the Lord, and they mena " the highest pleasure, eternal." Hara is the supreme pleasure potency of the Lord. This potency, when addressed are Hare, helps us in reaching the Supreme Lord.

The material energy, called as maya, is also one of the

multipotencies of the Lord, as much as we are also marginal potency of the Lord. The living entities are described as superior energy than matter. When the superior energy is in contact with inferior energy, it becomes an incompatible situation. But when the supreme marginal potency is in contact with the spiritual potency, Hara,it becomes the happy, normal condition of the living entity.

The three words, namely Hara, Krsna and Rama, are transcendental seeds of the maha-mantra, and the chanting is a spiritual call for the Lord and His internal energy, Hara, for giving protection to the conditioned soul. The chanting is exactly like a genuine cry by the chold for the mother. Mother Hara helps in achieving the grace of the supreme father, Hari, or Krsna, and the Lord reveals Himself to such a sincere devotee.

No other means, therefore, of spiritual realization is as effective in this age, as chanting the maha-mantra, Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare\/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare.

Even if Lord Krishna remains with you, He cannot do anything for you, unless you are fit to receive Him. Realize this point well and purify yourself by Nishkamya Karma Yoga, charity, concentration, meditation, Japa, Brahmacharya and control of senses. Bakhtiyoga has no place for Hipocracy, manipulation etc.

After attaining a certain stage of development, people begin to dissipate their energies in preaching, in making disciples, in publishing books. They become the slaves of name and fame. That is the reason why they fail to reach the highest goal of life, viz., Brahma Sakshatkar.

those who care for only of their own god realiation and no one else's are too greedy and so cannot help solve the provlems of the vedic people nor of the vedic land.

just think, if all the math students say, "I wouild teach math only after I become super ph d in math," then there will not be any math teachers for all the grades till MS and even beyond level. consequently, the education system would not produce any mathematician for the society. would you like to live in a society where no one knows math?

similarly, we the hindus need teachers and gurus at all the levels, becaue the people are at all the different levels of spirituality, and want to progess further. so, as prabhupada has said, always teach or preach what you have really realized, but without any false ego.

this karma of preaching elevates one to higher realization too.

as i have said before, the society needs gurus / preachers at all the level, down from the prison level to up to aacharya or sanyasi or swami level. a hingly advanced yogi does not need to go to prison to preach. he can send his grand grand disciple to do the work in prison.

the frequencly distribution of the spiritual levels of the populatiion follows a gaussian curve. it is more or less skewed one side or another depending upon what yuga we are talking about. so, we need gurus at all levels to preach all different levels to be efficient. it would be a terrible waste of manpower to send an advanced swami to preach in prison.

the anti hindus however are not interested in our progress, so they come in disguise as hindus and try to guide us in wrong direction so that their ill motive is well served. beware of such enemies in disguise.

This is not siddhanta of Gaudiya Vaishnavas's. Nama-Bhajana leads to Bhakti-Yoga. One of the 9 Anga of Devotional Service. You have no idea who can reach highest goal, Krishna Himself says that those who preach this message of Bhagavad-Gita are very dear to Him. Those who follow the siksa guru-parampara to Lord Krishna and back here {line} Know this secret. It's not fasion to make disciples it is dissipating real Siddhanta for the benifit of human kind. Which line you follow depends on your taste for Krishna.

Firstly, there is no test for Gurus. You can not teach certified Maths to students even if you have PhD in maths. There are certain examinations of Govt which makes you eligible teacher. Secondly, teaching is an art. Every gold medallist can not be a good teacher. Needless to say, how bad teachers can influence the students. There are also vedic schools where only eligible and trained teachers preaches regardless of their educational background. Even if you have sympathy for others god realization, you can not do so unless you are eligible teacher and even eligible Gurus do not accept every Hindu as their disciple.

An owl says, "There is no light". Is there no light? Similarly, the ‘owl’ professor says that there is no path other than ‘Bhaktiyoga’. I would like to recollect the message which Barney has given with dignity. If you do not want to understand others even though they are correct, it’s your wish but you are the looser regardless of whether you badmouth them. Similarly, even if your guru teaches you, he cannot do anything for you, unless you are fit to receive him. Sometimes, you need to pass the test to receive the higher knowledge.

The practice of Pranayama and Hatha Yogic Kriyas, for instance, would give a graded series of psychic experiences. Seeing all kinds of ethereal lights and hearing certain Anahata sounds belong to this category. Here, the sages who have propounded these Yogas have given very definite stages of spiritual experience. As the Kundalini passes from Chakra to Chakra, the Yogi has certain definite, verifiable experiences. That is because each Chakra governs a particular Tattva, and its mastery, therefore, gives specific experiences.

Even the richest people of the different parts of the world come to the Himalayas to practice Yoga, to seek the guidance of Rishis, seers, Yogis and sages and to acquire this imperishable wealth. Bhaktiyoga is one of the ways to reach the Godhead but not the only. There are very few Gurus who give ‘DIKSHA’ to reach the goal.

Even the BHAKTA’s experiences of horripilation, shedding of tears, etc., though they are not so perfectly graded as those of the Hatha Yoga practitioner, do not necessarily indicate spiritual progress. When you enter the domain of the Spirit, you come into the sphere of the Infinite. Infinite are the Yogas and infinite are the experiences too. Each man’s Yoga is his own. For, he has brought his own Samskaras and Vasanas and he strives in his own way to reach the goal. These two, interacting on each other, give him his various experiences. For instance, as he approaches the transcendental, infinite, immortal Self, the aspirant would enjoy great inner peace and indescribable happiness. He is not easily affected by what goes on around him. Not only this, he is able to radiate peace and happiness to all those who come into contact with him. He becomes good and radiates goodness. This is the most important sign of spiritual progress. God is perfect goodness. The aspirant who progresses towards the realization of God, therefore, grows in goodness. His evil qualities slowly vanish and are replaced by sublime virtues. If this most essential element is not there, then all other visions and sounds are practically useless. By his mere presence the advanced Yogi is able to inspire people to lead a good life, free from hatred and malice. His heart is filled with cosmic love, and therefore, he serves all spontaneously and selflessly. These are all real signs of spiritual progress.

Coming back to what you say is similar to the situation of Bombay, where one peson has been exorcised by many unconsciously with the egoistic intention that WE CAN DO IT TOO. Although it is not correct, the people are still not on the right path because people are blind with egoistic ignorance who are not even ready to understand others.

Do you know what Krishna says about those who have faith in other gods without disrespecting them. You simply want to ignore that because it is not favouring your path which also includes bias intention.
