In this context we are talking about India. The crusades didn't come to India, but the muslims did and we know about the suffering they inflicted on the people.

Islam did convert many non-muslims by force, this is well known but you forget there was strong resistence by the Indian religions and so the muslims couldn't convert everyone. Although Muslims kings were powerful they could't convert the whole country.

 

Even other religions like Sikhism had the sons of it's last guru - Gobing Singh executed because they refused to convert to Islam.

 

Muslims may have suffered in the crusades but look at the attrocities they have done to people of other faiths. They can't get away with always playing the victim and ignore their role as aggressors.
