Did people worship Him in deity form before 5,000 years ago? His original form, not his incarnations like Varaha, Narasimha, etc. If you were to live before He appeared on earth, what deities would you see in the temple?

1)previous avataras (nanda maharaja for example worshipped varaha deva)

2)during the krsna lilas in the earth is grand grandson vajnarabha sculpted many murtis of Him.. they were in vrindavan until the muslim emperor aurangzeb invaded vrindaban destroyng and persecuting vaishnavas.

Many of them where sended in various places in india but many remained in vrindavan

i remember two of these 5000 yrs old murtis ... the krsna of raval (the place where radhe was born) and some deities in kusuma sarovara

maybe govinda in jaipur???

The Lord's incarnations are cyclical, so Lord Krishna has appeared thousands of times in past Dvapara yugas.

In addition to this, the Lord's form is eternally existing beyond time, in Vaikuntha. Personalities such as Lord Brahma have meditated and seen this form of the Lord from the beginning of creation.
