I wasnt sure I could trust the internet and didnt want unecessary privacy issues coming my way. At the moment I am being harrassed by a former member here and she is doing all kinds of expensive searches about me and what I have or have not done. Too much time on her hands but whatever...She is using this as a means to discredit me personally and to impugne what is done here on this list. She might make into this list by my accident or the moderators as she is using fake ID's. This is OK and comes with the territory at times. But I felt it best to be upfront with all of you about this issue. Also I would like it to be known that I chrism or Chris Mitchell am no more special that anyone else in this world. I guess their lesson is one of darkness right now. Many people don't use their real names on the net! I had someone threatening and stalking me a few years ago. of course, did nothing even though it was another user. Who you are, what you offer us here, is far more important to me than what your real name is. There are many people who feed off attempting to discredit another being for their own fantasies and benefit. However, we are only responsible for our own actions and no one else. Chrism, you know in your heart this was your calling to help others in their transformative process of the almighty kundalini and I personally appreciate your gracefulness and generosity. Their are many ways to raise the kundalini and this method is one you are most knowledgeable with. With the large variety of kundalini practices available on the internet, one has to use their own discernment and decide for themselves which one is going to be the best benefit for them. If they chose KAS-1 group then we welcome them with open arms, if not... so be it. It's not for everyone. We have all at one time or another used a fake ID when we 1st started learning the Internet to be safe while online. With practice we have learned to safegaurd ourselves as best we can. Following your guidance is a personal choice, grounded in personal experience. If her's wasn't that good an experience then she should just move on. I built the first ISP here in this part of Maine in 1993, dialup accounts at that point were $75 a month and you got a login on a Unix box. Along the way as tech improved we were always replacing equipment, 14.4 modems for 28.8 ones etc. Bigger faster computers. We had tied up with someone ,who became a great friend, at a tech conference, just happen to be seated at the same table. Now, imagine where he was from and where we shipped all of our old but still useful equipment. Yup. Belize. Shaking head. Did all the engineering and turned her on the first day myself. That's one I'm very proud of. I donated my time for 3 years to get it running. I was one of the first two employees of one of Toronto's first ISPs (you remember Tucows?) ... and worked for the CEO of that company when he and two other independent ISPs started the Canadian Association of Internet Providers. I remember when 14.4 was a BIG modem (laugh) ... a 3 Gig hard drive was " The Mother of All Hard Drives " ... and a little thing called " Mosaic " was a really big deal, heh heh ... we never charged that much for a login though ;-) ... Anonymity in the first instance is often a measure of insecurity and or reflects a desire to remain part of the `normal' crowd while coming to terms with the life changes taking place. I don't think that there are many in this group who actively wish to appear different out there – in reality we are not – we have taken the conscious decision to develop that we believe to be within us and, being on a learning curve and often in comparatively uncharted territory, we keep a low profile for the sake of essential relationships (business or otherwise) that could be adversely affected through either ignorance or bias of some form on behalf of those we interact with. Whether we like it or not, until we can consciously exist on multiple planes simultaneously we are here on the physical full time and need to successfully co-exist with everyone else here! Re the `attacker' he or she is also insecure or probably envious or alternatively bigoted. The last laugh is on her however as he or she has seriously missed the point – we are not here idolizing what he or she may consider to be a self appointed guru, we are here to share learning experiences on our own paths of development and thereby hopefully avoid some of the pitfalls along the way that others have made. That path does bond us as a `band of brothers' so to speak, but does not in any way make us a cult. That enlightenment or potential we aspire to will ultimately benefit all we come into contact with, with the only personal gain being our own enlightenment and uplift. We are fortunate to have chrism as our guide – otherwise it would be akin to climbing Everest without a Sherpa guide – we might make it but we could equally get lost! I don't think we should be disappointed in us no matter what our reaction though. This is a learning experience and we are all at different levels and have different needs at this time. I actually think an attack or two on is a GOOD thing (sorry Chrism) because it reinforces who he is, what he is made of. He handles it all with such grace...might we all be able to do as well in the same circumstances. When someone attacks someone that you care for, I think it is only natural to react with some sort of defensiveness, or for me it is...... Guest guest Report post Posted July 9, 2008 I can see differences now from when I first became a member of this group. The first time I witnessed being attacked, I was angry and outraged, lol! I think the urge to defend those we care about and respect is normal. I have always felt the need to defend my friends or even people who were not my friends that I witnessed being picked on. Sometimes though, we ruin their lesson, we take away their personal power by rushing to their defense. I am still working on that issue, but I have gotten a LOT better. I am the onliest one I know of around these parts that has a habit of attacking chrism, and believe me, he understands. And he is a big grown up man and doesn't need anyone to defend him. Altho he probably is amused by the whole group practically, jumping to his defense. let me tell you a little story. When I was very young, I was a great one for being a peace maker. Until one day in a bar, I got in between two biker chicks in a fight, lol, saying can't we all just get along? Hahahaha! If I hadn't had a couple guy friends around I would've gotten my a** kicked a lot worse than I did. I minded my own business after that. I got it. But hey, it is all good, really. I think what was going on with chrism was... I am trying to integrate the sacred male and female energies and my first sacred male, my dad, made some pretty major mistakes, which led me to be *extremely* disappointed in him and splintered that relationship w/in me. So when I have a male in my life I look up to, first I put them on a pedestal, then I knock them off and see how they react. LOL! takes it *really* well! He is a great guy, I just have to keep him off that pedestal! Paula, are ya in a time warp, girl? This was all quite some time ago. And btw, I have forgiven my dad a lot as far as I can tell.
