I want to draw a few lines in ur consideration that i m a

resident of srinagar j & k and i m a animal lover,

I want to bring in ur notice that the dogs which serve our police

deparment for eight long years are being auctioned

after their retirement which leads their rest of life to misery.i

would like to explain this briefly,all those dogs

who r being auctioned are either being purchased for bussiness

purposes or the buyer cant even feed dogs for a long time

most of the times the auctioned dogs are found on roads hungry and in

a worse condition than street dogs,because they

are never being taught how to feed on their own.the reason for all

this is that the purchaser never know about the

dogs and he just purchases one just because they get them on a very

low price which is bearable to even school going

kid out of his pocket money.

being a animal lover want u look in to the matter and

either try to stop the auction of these police

dogs or make it compulsary that those dogs are being checked properly

after some regular interwals by the department

even after their auction and most importantly thoses dogs must not

being auctioned for bussiness purposes i.e

who so ever purchases the dog must keep the dog with him only and

he/she should have no right to sell the dog till

dog's death.
