hi nikki,

Thank you for the good advice,

I am working with a friend, taking pictures, I will write letters.

even though it is probably a lost cause, I feel that I need to do

something. to know that at least I did something.

Seeing all those trees fall down, makes me want to plant twice as many

and in the next year I will to www.Arborday.org and plant

trees wherever I can.

although they take a while to grwo.

Hi Nikki

Ummm - I think Jo meant in terms of needing to earn money to live due to

numerous goverment cuts in state pensions, leaving people who are now within

10 years of retirement in a pretty dire situation!

Hi Peter

That is what I meant. If I could afford to live, eat and keep warm,

and go out occasionally I would retire now - so would Colin. It's

just too scary to think of the price of electricity/gas, council tax

etc.

Hey - no need to be cheeky :-)

I'm sure I'll find something to do when I finally get round to retirement...

I generally find that work just gets in the way of stuff I want to do!

I swear I never touched you!

And you better be careful, your Mum's on this group and I'll tell

her!

I think that I'll probably do some more volunteer work, spend time

with the grandkids (hopeful), travel a bit, work the small farm/land

I'll own (hopeful) and who knows what else.

I reckon it was better. I think sandwiches for work always get a bit uninspiring, well mine do anyway!
