I work 6 miles from where I live, and it takes me about 35 minutes... and this is in Bristol, which I'm sure is tilted so that whichever way you go is uphill.... *and* I'm always the slowest cyclist on the road... and even so, it's quicker than taking the car due to traffic.

companies

the us oil industry was given almost $3 billion the other year to aid in

domestic exploration...

the world bank very happily lends money to explore for more oil ventures, with 80% of any oil going to the US and the EU

Actually, our healthcare does cost - we have to pay tax and National

Insurance.... and we still get a ropy health service where people have to

wait 3 years for heart bypass operations, and 5 years for hip replacements.

We have the highest tax burden in Europe, and the least percentage of our

earnings as " disposable income " of any country in the " first " world.

you did not give me the opportunity to before your " helper " snagged

Perhaps you are right. Tho I never thought that Fraggle and I looked
