What is the best way to wash fruits and vegetables?

 

What is the best way to store them to maintain freshness? Any helpful

links or info.?

I use the spray bottles of peroxide and vinegar then rinse well with water.

I wash my herbs in cold salted water to pull out the debris.

Then I snip iff the bottoms and stand them in a glass of water, they

stay fresh for days.

I usually wash my fruits as I eat them and I use a fruit and veggie

wash I get at Whole Foods.
