Guest guest
don't encourage em and give em ideas and..sorry..we never really had swords here... it was all about those muskets we had to obviously slaughter off the other people who use to live here...silly indians, thinking this was their place... Peter May 7, 2005 8:11 AM Re: BBC website - Agent Orange Hi Peter > Fweedom to bear arms is always a good one! And just to start another in-depth discussion.... someone recently pointed out that when that was written, "arms" was usually at worst a cross-bow, or a sword... they didn't really envisage it meaning rapid-fire machine guns and the like... makes you wonder why you don't have people in the US wandering around with pocket-size nuclear weapons claiming that they have every right to under the constitution :-) BB Peter To send an email to -

Guest guest
I lived through the insanity of atom bomb drills (children, hurry and go into the halls, sit facing the wall and put your hands behind your heads. Like that is going to save you from glowing in the dark!), nothing that came out of the 50s would surprise me! If you are ever out driving and happen past the elementary school, Nystrom, in Richmond, the cyclone fencing and barbed wire aren't new. It was that way when I went to school there! Gangs and so forth aren't new, there is just more television to tell folks about them now!
