Guest guest Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Does anyone know of a good (but moderately priced) Thai restaurant in the East Bay (Alameda, Oakland, or Berkeley) that serves brown rice? I love Thai food, but I won't touch the pure starch that white rice is, and servers are always so distressed when I refuse the rice, asking me to repeat over and over again that I really don't want it, as if they couldn't possibly have heard me correctly (I'm betting I'm not the only one this happens to)... Guest guest Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Hello: May be instead of repeating over and over- if you could let them know the reason for not wanting it-they may undersatnd & if enough similar mindset people dine there- they may make arrangements to accomodate their clientele.
