I recently got some zinc oxide and would like to incorporate it into some of my

prodcuts. Anyone familiar with using this? Is it water soluble, oil soluble,

usage rate that wont leave a white film on skin? thanks

Hi Tracy,

It used at between 1% - 5%.

Its pretty much insoluble in water. It is soluble in acid and alkali.

I've used it in baby ointment and in my personal sunscreen.

Use it at the lower % to not leave the skin with a white film (and

don't gob the product on ;)
