Tony it may partly be something that Australia lacks - will check this out and get back to you on that one - Australians may need more magnesium that other areas of the planet - this is something we should consider, not all races nor all areas have the same deficits.

Apparently you (or Australia in general) is ahead of US on this.

My own experiences with clients doing hair analysis suggests that only one out of three people here need any supplemental calcium whereas 2 out of 3 need magnesium. While I don't worry much about taking an aspartate form of magnesium or calcium since the excitoxic effect of aspartate is offset by the mineral itself, why go through the expense of taking calcium aspartate when the citrate form is just as well absorbed?

In general, when taking mineral supplements, combinations of a variety of chelate forms are best absorbed while oxides and carbonates are the worst.

Here in Australia it is generally accepted that you get sufficient Calcium in your diet and you only need Magnesium supplemented - often in quite large amounts, if you insist on taking the two minerals then you need to separate them and take one in the morning and the other at night.Jane"kotheimerdc" <kotheimerdcI had two people tell me about this new product, E-zorb, which is being hailed as a good supplement for fibromyalgia, arthritis and osteoporosis.. It is calcium aspartate anhydrous with some magnesium. One of the women said it was helping her fibromyalgia pain, the other thought it was helping her with osteoporosis, but who knows? Can anyone tell me about the benefits of mineral aspartates, and whether calcium aspartate is helpful in these conditions? I have not found good information on this.Thanks---«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»§ - PULSE ON 21st CENTURY ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE! §Subscribe send email to: - «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»GREAT VACATION RENTAL ON THE LAKE: www.vacationhomerentals.com/39833DISCLOSURE:Any information here in is for educational purpose only; it may be news related, purely speculation or SOMEONE’S OPINION.
