This URL is the manufacturer of aspartame. Aspartame has, of course,

caused an epidemic of diabetes. It not only can precipitate

diabetes, but aggravates and simulates diabetic retinopathy and

neuropathy and destroys the optic nerve due to the free methyl

alcohol. It causes diabetics to go into convulsions and even

interacts with insulin.

The American Diabetes Assn who is funded by industry had suit filed

against them for pushing aspartame but they got out of it. It was in

2004. They all know, and as I often say, " when those responsible to

solve the problem ARE the problem, its an abomination. NutraSweet

had suit filed against them for racketeering but also got out of it

in 2004. Everywhere diabetics are losing limbs. As Dr. James Bowen

says, " The methanol and excitotoxin are famous for damaging nerves

and both are in exacerbated and synergized form in the case of

aspartame poisoning. You have to understand that when methanol is

taken into the body in any form the he consumer then experiences the

entire toxic axis of methanol to formaldehyde to formic acid (fire

ant poison) and on to carbon monoxide. Many diabetics victimized by

aspartame are unnecessarily experiencing limb amputations. Aspartame

is a highly addictive brain washing agent and the victims cannot even

conceive of quitting aspartame. "

Dr. H. J. Roberts is a diabetic specialist and all this is discussed

in the medical text, Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic,

www.sunsentpress.com

Splenda likewise is deadly for diabetics and Citizens for Health and

attorney James Turner, have already filed a petition with the FDA to

ban it. This is a chlorocarbon poison. If you want to do an

experiment take two cups of water and 6 packets of Splenda. Let it

boil. Then smell. You'll feel like you're at the pool with the

strong smell of chlorine.

The safe sweetener for diabetics is Just Like Sugar which is made

from chicory which has been used for 70 years to improve the health

of diabetics. It also contains orange peel and Vitamin C and

Calcium. You can find it in places like Whole Foods and also on line

at www.justlikesugarinc.com

All my best,

Have never liked any artificial sweetner. My mom and sister chug diet drinks like it's water. They're both very over weight. I do appreciate the info on Just Like Sugar. A friend of mine is looking for an safe alternative to sugar for herself and her diabetic mom. After reading all the info about aspartame here lately and then seeing an ad advertising for it, I found it quite distasteful especially since it was targeting diabetics who are already struggling with their health.
