Arthritis or Carpal Tunnel

It is basic first aid that inflammation is diminished/eradicated by cryotherapy.

Rarely is inflammation a solitary situation. Its usually hand in hand with

spasms.

(Both could result in nerve impingement, thus the tingling sensation of

incomplete signals.)

If both are not properly addressed, the condition will persist.

There are many therapies to address both of these issues besides drugs. Many

without the side effects/toxicity of chemicals:

-Neuromuscular therapy,

-accupuncture,

-range of motion stretches,

-hot packs/cold packs,

-ice massage,

-poultices,

-finger/hand exercises,

-investing in proper health professionals

(not only for intervention/treatment, but for instruction, as well.)

are just some of the first things that come to mind.

Goals/Benchmarks:

Firstly, break the spasm/inflammation cycle.

Secondly, reestablish range of motion

Thirdly, increase strength/endurance to elevate the exhaustion ceiling of the

hand & decrease the % of stress to the hand that it takes to do what you ask of

it.

Is this condition a result of overload/lack of maintenance or injury or both?

I have inflammation in my right index and " finger " finger. I am acutely aware of

this pain. My hand also tingles in the other fingers. I don't work at a keyboard

for more than a hour a day. What steps can I take to cure this situation without

NSAIDs?

Regards,

Chris
