Imbalance of potassium/sodium..... I had this many years ago....adding

potassium foods and a supplement cured it literally.

A friend wrote to me: " I went to the doctor today because my right heal

hurts when I walk. It's not the part I step on. It is about where a shoe

strap would hit, except it is not on the out side. It's deeper inside. It

only hurts when I walk. The doctor has no clue what is wrong. "

This is such a wonderful forum for information....does anyone have any

thoughts or suggestions?

What type of shoes does this person wear? What type of surface are they normally

walking on? Are they overweight? Are they a generally fit person? Is it a

possible injury? Do  they walk in a balanced manner?

I dont know if this is the same or not but I was diagnosed with heel spur

syndrome about 8 yrs ago, after 3-4 yrs of complaining to my doctor. She would

take xrays and nothing would show up. Finally she sent me to a specialist.

He said it was Heel Spur Syndrome. The pain is there before the spur.

That's why it couldn't be detected. At that time Iwas given cortizone

injections

and the pain went away for about 5 yrs. When It came back he didn't want to

give me cortizone again, he just gve me pain ointment which did nothing.

Then when my daughter was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, my new dr.

(integrative medicine) said that I should go on the diet also, even tho my test

results

were negative. He believed I had CD also. Within 3 days on the gluten free

diet, my foot pain went away--for good. This one was of many benefits I

never expected! 2 yrs later Im still on the diet and still no foot pain!
