Dear Ms. Poulin,

Thank you for your email to Dr. Lunney regarding Bill C-52.  Once an election is

called all proposed legislation dies on the Order Table.   No one at this stage

can state definitively which, if any of the previous bills, will be returned

when the election is over.  Any bills which are proposed again would have to

start at the beginning of the legislative process and no decision has been made

at this point.

Thank you for contacting us on this issue.

Sincerely,

Anne Anders

Status of Bill C-52?

Hello Honorable James Lunney,

Can you give me an update on the status of bill C-52? Is it dead since an

election was called? Will it have to be started from scratch with a new

government or do they just go on with it as is?
