Obviously supplementation with EFA (linseed oil, evening primrose oil) helps

in a number of so-called mental disorders. It doesn't really matter what

label it is given if you can make it a thing of the past.

Vitamin B1 can prevent hypoglycemia and cravings for sugar.

In Search of the Holy Grail:Natural Treatment of Schizophrenia Introduction

" The phospholipid hypothesis holds out the promise of prevention of

schizophrenia in the future, as well as safe, natural treatment of

schizophrenia, and, by analogy, *bipolar disorde*r and other mental

disorders such obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit

disorder (ADD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), since

aberrations or severe deficiency in EFAs could cause a wide range of

abnormal, compromised neurotransmission. There is strong evidence, already

published, that unipolar depression – the most common psychological disorder

– responds to treatment with EFA supplementation (Stoll 2001). "

Hi,

I do not have any experience with bipolar disorder, but this weekend I happened

to come across some studies that say the borna virus can cause bipolar symptoms.
