Guest guest
Hi Rose,Frankly, I am hesitant to recommend that she not undergo surgery as I don't know the seriousness of the blockage. Maybe one of our professionals could chime in.Is she on any blood thinning medications such as Coumadin? If not, you may want to try cayenne pepper to dissolve the blockage. iherb has Dr. Christopher's Cayenne Tincture which is what we use. We use one dropper full in a glass of juice (make sure it is real juice) daily. In her case, you may want to do this several times a day. Oh, and if this is your first order with iherb, by using referral code XOT949 you can receive $5.00 off the product. However, since time is of the essence, you may just want to mix actual cayenne pepper in the juice or in hot water to sip as a tea. Start off with 1/4 of a teaspoon and work slowly up to one teaspoon as she can tolerate it.Is your mom taking oleander? On top of being an excellent anti-cancer and immune strengthening agent, it also has blood thinning properties.Besides the Budwig Protocol is she following any other part of A Natural Anti-Cancer Protocol?Hugs,Rosemarie Geiger <gypsy___roseFri, April 9, 2010 10:47:28 AM Broken Blood Vessel Hi Group, My Mom has been dealing with her stage IV ovarian cancer for the past 1.5 years. Successfully, I might add. She has been doing a combination of things but, most importantly, she has been following the Budwig Protocol. For many years prior, she has had high pressure in her eyes and takes Lumigun(sp?) drops in them every night to keep that under control. She has her eyes checked religiously, every 4 months. Last week a broken blood vessel was found behind her right eye. A blocked artery/vein in neck is believed to be the cause. She is scheduled for a sonogram of her neck area next week and, if a blocked artery is found, she will be recommended for surgery. The docs seem to want to act on this pretty quickly for fear of stroke. We are wondering how she could have a blocked artery after being on the Budwig Protocol for 1.5 years? This diet is supposed to thin the blood and she even went off of it a week prior to a surgery due to this fact and fear of her blood being too thin during surgery. Also, any ideas for avoiding surgery? Would 'blockbuster- all-clear' supplement be recommended/ tried in this case? Or is surgery the best thing to do since these blockages can let loose at any time? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Guest guest
Hi , My Mom was on Oleander for a long time while she was going through this battle of hers. I'm not sure if she is still taking it. It's so odd that she would have a blocked artery after all that. She was taking Oleander for a good year and has been doing the BP non-stop. She is not on Coumadin but, the docs may prescribe that for her because of this. I will let her know the cayenne pepper remedy. It will warm her up anyway and she is always cold! Can't hurt!!! Guest guest
Oh Rose, I hope they don't put her on Coumadin. That's actually rat poison. I would start her on a regimen of cayenne pepper. Start off a few times a day and then as she improves, once daily. Is there a reason that she stopped taking oleander? Actually, this could go a long way in stopping the progression and reversing her cancer, together with the other supplements found in A Natural Anti-Cancer Protocol. Budwig is good, but it should not be the only thing relied on. She should be doing as much as she can.Anyway, please keep me posted as to whether they find a blockage. Hopefully, they won't.Hugs,Rosemarie Geiger <gypsy___roseoleander soup Sent: Fri, April 9, 2010 11:46:49 AMRE: Broken Blood Vessel Hi , My Mom was on Oleander for a long time while she was going through this battle of hers.
