The dangers are that DMSO will take anything across the skin barrier, even

bacteria and toxins.....must be very aware of what you are doing when using. Also

thei often gets across into the applicators bloodstream if they don't use an

applicator that protects them.We have even given the foals IV DMSO for

brain,spinal swelling, is a potent anti-inflamatory.Sincerely,Patricia Jordan

Dear Jazz,

He needs to cut back to a Homeopathic dosage with the DMSO = 10 drops

or less = find the comfort level.

Everything else being given is good, but you should also add

Oxygenation Therapy and Inversion Therapy to the regimen.

Half an ounce of Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide mixed in freshly squeezed

Orange Juice followed by 6 to 9 three minute bouts of Inversion Therapy

will bring about wonders. You may have to do the Inversion Therapy on

a gradient too. Start with a 45* angle to begin, and then a 60* angle

to finally end with the body fully upside down. Remember to

use the BRAIN Formula. This remedy is an absolute must!!!

Hugs,

Doc

She is giving him the following:

Hops capsule from Natures sunshine for 3 years

Gotu Kola and ginkgo capsule

Barley Juice capsule and

Focus Attention Capsule from the same company for 3 years

The last one has Lemon, Grape, ginkgo concentrate, Elm Bark

Gelatin.

Any suggestions please?

Dear Meredith,

You'll have to do your own Internet Search to find a source of USP

Pharmaceutical Grade DMSO.

All I can advise you is make sure it is the kind sold in Brown Glass

with either a Teflon or Wax top.

Never buy DMSO that is sold in plastic. Never.

My company, Organic Solutions, does not and is not allowed to sell it

because of FDA restrictions and the fact they watch me like a hawk. :-)

You'll have to do your own search hon.

Yours in Knowledge, Health and Freedom,

Doc

Doc,

I'm looking for high quality DMSO USP (Pharmaceutical Grade) as you've

recommended while I'm here in Arizona. I couldn't find any in Poland

(where I live). Any hints of where I should go or look? How much

should I expect to pay? I've found one website that seems to sell the

proper DMSO and it's about $56 for 100ml. Does that sound about right?

I found it at http://tinyurl.com/2xo2dw

I'm only here in the states 2 more weeks, so I'd like to order it asap.

Thanks for any help!

Shan, in your very good article about hydrogen peroxide it mentioned DMSO as

being one of the last available miracle medicines. My doctor said I'm going to

loose my hip and both knees from lack ofcartlage and I'm only forty two! I've

heard DMSO can help with ostio arthritis. Do you or anyone have a good article

on DMSO they could post? Thank you!

Here is my answer to DMSO. It is a miracle substance. I just had hip resurfacing

surgery in Dec. Even though taking the coumadin it never reached therapeutic

levels because I am taking numerous supplements for cancer that I had. I think

the Poly-MVA and the coumadin were in conflict with my system hence I got 3

blood clots in the superficial vein of my left thigh. That is also the operated

side.

Since the coumadin was ineffective I put DMSO directly on the three sites and it

gradually reduced the swelling and pain and 2 of the clots are gone and one is

almost gone. I hope this helps.

BTW I am also using the DMSO to put an oxygen substance directly on the two

sites of the mastectomy breast as I had two suspicious lumps. The surgeon

removed the lumps Tuesday and do not have the pathology report yet. I used DMSO

to help the oxygenator go direct into the lumps. Maybe my imagination but I do

think the lumps were stabilized and started to shrink a bit.

I don't know much about DMSO. However, guggulu is one of the best

herbs for arthritis. It is even better if it is formulated according

to your Ayurvedic dosha. About 15 years ago, I was carrying a

computer. I slipped on ice. I held onto the computer since I did

not want to drop it. I fell on my elbow and got bone splinters for a

few months. I got some kaishore guggulu and within 2 weeks, the

fragments were gone.

Other good remedies are boswellia and turmeric.

It is a natural solvent. Veterinarians use it a lot to reduce swelling. I

will look for a site that will explain it. It reduced the swelling in my leg

in speedy time.

I would NEVER use DSMO on either my animals of people. It is an industrial

solvent. I've seen people use it on race horses and their leg swoll big as a

stove pipe and then they run cold water over it.

My leg was swollen and it reduced the swelling. In record time also. The

ultrasound could not understand the rapidity of the swelling going down and

how fast the clots dissolved.

I don't measure, I just slather it on. But I have a pretty wide rear end.

It's great as an anti inflammatory and as a carrier. DO NOT put it on and

then go for a walk where they just sprayed a bunch of pesticides.

Also, use it with aloe. You can get it mixed/infused with aloe. Otherwise

sometimes it itches real bad the next day.

I have also used DMSO purchased as a roll-on liquid and also in a jar

combined with aloe vera. I have severe arthritis and bursitis in my

shoulders and neck area. It works very well, but not for an extended

period like Capasian creme. For me, it usually wears off in

approxiimately 4 hours. I was told not to let the DMSO come into

contact with my hands and to immediately wash my hands with liquid

soap if the DMSO did come into contact with them. So I dip a kleenex

or make-up removal cotton pad into the jar and slather it on in the

evening before going to bed. It helps me not have to take oral pain

medicine.

One thing that a previous poster mentioned is that DMSO is used as

a " carrier " or other natural remedies. This means that the DMSO opens

up your pores and delivers the remedy deep into your tissues.

However, that also means that you need to be very careful.

Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way...

I was driving for a long period on a warm day, and my bursitis in my

left shoulder started to act up. I slathered the DMSO on my shoulder

and left the shoulder uncovered and continued to drive for 5-6

additional hours. My shoulder had already been warm from the sun

coming through the window of my car before applying the DMSO. By the

time I reached home, my shoulder was on fire with blistering, second,

and third degree burns in the exact area where I had originally put

the DMSO. My doctor knew nothing about DMSO when I went to the

emergency room the next day. It was a very serious burn which took

more than two weeks to recover from. However, the owner of the health

food store, where the DMSO was originally purchased, told me about

how DMSO works, as I stated above. I've learned my lesson and won't

use it during the day, especially since I live in sunny Southern

California. I still have some scaring, six months later.

My advice would be to first purchase the DMSO as a roll-on

preparation. It doesn't seem to be as strong as the gel and you don't

need to worry about getting it on your hands.

Good luck!

Cindy

Dear Ien,

The only difference is a slight one in their chemical makeup.

DMSO = (CH3)2SO

MSM = (CH3)2SO2

Sometimes, MSM is called DMSO2 ;o)))

DMSO is a liquid above 68*F

MSM is a powder even above 90*F.

That extra oxygen atom makes that much difference.

Much love,

Doc

Thanks Doc, you're a great resource. One of the few

things I know is that the extra oxygen molecule makes

hydrogen peroxide what it is. And it sure is different

from water!
