thank you liz! i thought " formulae " would just be tinctures and

medicines so i didn't look in there.

sounds pretty scary that you'll feel so bad during/after a cleanse.

is there no gentler way to detox? or is it really better to just

get it over with quickly? does the " cure " ever kill ya? how is it

going for you?

When I did the liver/gallbladder cleanse I was like a whiny little toddler

the first day. I thought everything tasted horrible and ~stomps foot~ I

didn't want to do it anymore. But I'd paid for the herbs and damnit I wasn't

going to waste them. I was shocked at how soon the crisis kicked in. Half

way through the first day I just wanted to curl in a ball and lay on the

floor the rest of the day. I had ZERO energy and was a giant crab. At that

time I didn't even realize there would be a " crisis " . Dr. Schulze said you

feel awesome through the cleanses. BULL!

The next day I felt a teensy bit better but started feeling good towards the

end. The formulas were also tasting better.

Day three I was wizzing around the house like I was on crack chugging down

my formulas and teas. I was happy and full of energy. Literally singing and

dancing around the house, which made my toddler laugh. I can't ever remember

having energy EVER in my life so that was nice.

And my husband, with how I smelled, said sleeping next to me cleansed him.

LOL

I've never done a total body cleanse (some day) but I'm sure it's not so bad

other than a few days here and there.

<how is it

going for you?

I haven’t started my cleanse yet, I’ll be doing it this

weekend. I may start Friday. As far as feeling crappy it makes sense. I have

found that in more naturopathic modalities things tend to get a little worse before

they get better. Take massage for instance. Years of incorrect posture or

repetitive movements or a sedentary lifestyle will build up dysfunctions that

take a lot to get worked out. It takes deep therapeutic massage that can leave

you feeling ill (because of the movement of toxins in the body) or sore and

bruised because it takes just that much work to undo everything you’ve

done to your body. Chiropractics (even gentle chiropractics) can leave you sore

after fixing a specific problem. Exercising is the same. If I started working

out to palates tomorrow you can bet I’m going to be hurting tomorrow. It’s

the same with detuning your body. You are now moving around toxins that have

been sitting there possibly for years. The ejecting of all that crap is bound

to be a little bit uncomfortable but well worth it in the end. I myself am

looking forward to seeing the results of the cleanse as I’m hoping to

feel a lot better.

If I recall correctly isn’t there

someone on the list that’s doing the total cleanse right now? How are you

feeling? How far along are you. How hard has it been on your body? Any input

from anyone who’s already done the juice cleanse?

hello,

this sort of reminds me of my 3 day clease. prune juice 16oz.

mineralwater/organic applejuice all day. that for 3 days! man, how

boring and like you said, it started to work right away. i felt

very bad in sort of pulse moods...... good bad, good bad, very bad,

good. i had one apple at the 2nd night as this was ok in the file. i

was surprised that i didn't lose too much " waste " . first day was an

all cleaning out happening! 2 and third day was just urine........

i think that means that i'm in pretty good health or i'm missing

something here. i have been very good with juicing and eating good

stuff. wonder how much mucus and other waste comes through the urine

track that you just can't see or notice. the bad feeling felt like

my weaning off my medication, much like alcohol withdrawl and drugs

withdrawl to me. btw, i'm off the pills!! took me a half a

year........ and was very difficlut, but i did it!! (O: heehawwww!!

ok, i'm drifting off is see..... moi, rik

Hi Rik, I've done the juice fast 3 times now, and the first time I did it was like you were saying - good the first day but then just urine. Per the reference (in the files), though, if you're not going (constipated) you need to increase the juice/water intake. Then things keep moving!

Have you ever done the total cleanse? If so, how many days of "crisis" was involved there?

The liver cleanse was awesome. The only time I'd ever been that hyper was when I did drugs and it wasn't the same all natural good hyper. That was more of a nervous jittery anxious hyper. And it actually had me regular!

I still have enough herbs to do another liver/gallbladder cleanse. I also have the herbs (I bought 6 months ago) for a kidney/bladder cleanse.

Anyone think it would be harmful to do 2 5 day cleanses back to back? All the while doing a colon cleanse with Form #2?

I'm starting to feel like poo again and want to do some major cleansing. I can't do a total cleanse because I can't afford the herbs or enough organic stuff to last an entire month!

I'd been taking Form #1 for a while before I did the liver cleanse so I was regular but had never done Form #2.

I stopped taking Form #1 when I started the cleanse not knowing you could take it at the same time but I was going 6 MAJOR honkin GIANT bowel movements a day while doing the cleanse. Then I plugged up a couple days later. I think this time when I do the liver cleanse I'm going to do the Form #2 at the same time. Better buy a good plunger!!!!!

I lost 7 pounds immediately after the cleanse was done. Like you, I peed a

LOT. I'd say every 20 minutes all day. But with all I was drinking, that

wasn't shocking!

I had a runny nose the entire time, too, and when I'd blow it it smelled

like pure garlic. So the cleanse does so much more than your liver!

Hi Candace,

Doing the liver and kidney cleanses back to back are fine (that's how it's done on the Total Body Cleanse), but it is critical to have cleansed the bowels before doing those cleanses.

Organic Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Organic Apple Cider Vinegar1 Handful of chopped Horseradish1 Handful of Black Walnut Hulls

These are the things I'll need before I can do the cleanse (and obviously organic fruits and veggies galore)

That's not too bad. I might be able to smuggle a thing here and there into the house if I use cloth diapers for a while and cut back a bit on other things (if that's possible)

and then do the cleanse once my garden is grown.

If I skipped the Total Tonic I could cleanse sooner.....hmmmmmmmmmmmm.....I hate being patient. I want to do it TODAY. LOL

Candace,

If you start " pricing " now, you can can get an idea of what you can

get and where.

I did some checking and found that i could get Newmans Own O/Ex

V/OOil in 25oz bottle for like $8.

Braggs ACV is really good and compared to other brands consistant and

around $5 for a 32oz bottle (empty bottle makes good house for TT

later)

I have not been able to get BWH locally, and may be geeting some

online if i can find affordable price. If i do, perhaps we can split

it? If that is the case, i can get organic horseradish root and

could send that as well if you cant find locally. my last chunck

cost me 2 bucks!

Sylvia

but i found a source for powder.
