Knox gelatin and thinning knee cartilidge

First of all, I want to thank everyone who has given me advice on my

daughter's cough.

Now I want to talk about my knees. I have been diagnosed with Chondra

Malecia Patella which is thinning and wearing away of the knee

cartilidge. Ive tried many , many things to no avail. What Ive been

doing for the last 3 weeks now is taking a packet of Knox gelatin mixed

with a couple ounces of orange juice. 5 days ago the pain went away.

Let me say that the pain that I DID have was excruciating on some days,

and the pain was 24/7. So my question is, does anyone have an

explanation as to why the gelatin may be working?

Thanks

Jennifer

Jennifer that's great news! The gelatin helps to

rebuild cartilege.

Here are some other things I have learned over the

years to help. My ex husband was looking at knee

replacement and his surgeon told him to do the

following as his older clients had excellent results

from it. My Ex was able to reduce the number of

steroid injections, put off the surgery and was almost

pain free. His knee was nearly bone-on-bone, but the

surgeon felt he was too young for knee replacement.

This also helped with arthritis and spinal injuries he

has as a Rod Buster/Iron Worker.

Glucosamine with Chondroitin (must have chondroitin)

MSM

BM & C or ARTH(which I don't think you can get anymore)

Calcium & Magnesium Complex

The combination of the 4 is an excellent program for

rebuilding cartilege, cushioning of the joint,

reducing inflammation, rebuilding of bone where

deterioration has started.

It takes as much as 6 weeks of this before you see a

difference, but it is well worth it.

Also these supplements need to be in powder or capsule

form. Tablets have too many fillers and take too much

time to digest so you wouldn't get the full effect of

the supplement.

Caution with the MSM..Do not take more than the

recommended dose as it has very unpleasant side

effects when too much is taken. A friend of mine

thought she would do better with more...more isn't

better with this one. She ended up in the ER with

seizures. Less is definitely better.

I first heard about Knox Gelatin in the delightful MLM audiotape " Dead

Doctors Don't Lie. " The speaker described a study on arthritis that had

amazing results using ground up chicken cartridge. He pointed out that Knox

Geletin is simply ground up cow cartilage. It makes sense to me that if you

want your body to repair itself, you have to give it the right tools.

Imagine repairing your torn clothing without a needle or thread. The second

time I heard of Knox Gelatin was in Bottom Line Health. They wrote of a

study that actually gave Nutra-Joint (gelatin and supportive nutrients) to

people with mild to moderate knee pain. Most reported noticeable

improvement within two weeks. The third time was from a client who claimed

giving Knox gelatin to his dog made him act like a young dog again.

My mother is on a waiting list to have a knee operation due to wear

of her cartilidge.

She has been using gelatine (the type that you make Jelly with) 1

teaspoon a day in warm water and the remarkable difference it has

made to her is unbelievable.

A few months back her knee was so painful she would weep everytime

she had to walk on it and that was with help.

Now she can almost walk normally again and is not having to take any

pain killers.

She is wondering whether to cancel her op now as the improvement has

been so great.

I also had a Bowen Therapy client who said he crushed his knee in a

car accident and that he also takes the gelatine every day. He said

it totally repaired his knee.

So there you go. Definately worth giving this a try.

All the best

Yes, cancel the surgery! You can always set another date if this

does not work out, once they operate, you are screwed. Keep us

posted.
