Guest guest
Hello, I'm the moderator of this list. I'm not sure why the links aren't working, but I will contact and see what the problem is. I started this list in 98, when it was under Onelist.com. Last year took it over, and just started a whole web-based program, i.e., chats, websites, etc for the groups. But as it is stated on the site: All eGroups email and web addresses will continue to work. All of your group information and membership has been maintained. I have not put the group under , nor made a web page for it. But the emails will still work, and the group as a whole is functioning. If the majority of the group would like for this to be further integrated with , and have a web page, and the like, Please Email me privately, and I will do so. Thank You. And if anyone has any other questions, please let me know. Lauren acupuncture-owner <<Why is it impossible to access any of the pages at the acupuncture homepage? Go here and you'll see what I mean: acupuncture Could this be the reason why there are so few active members? I wanted to upload pictures of acupuncture meridians to the group home. Guest guest
Hello to all on this list, On Sat, Apr 14, 2001 at 04:33:36PM -0400, dautobrody wrote: > with , and have a web page, and the like, Please Email me privately, and > I will do so. What i would be interested in, is a kind of knowledge base of material of the list. I have read the listmails for the last years now, and there was a lot of wellfounded single-case and general contributions, and also chart-like material, web-links and the like, that i would like to have a more structured search-approach to. And these things could very well be placed on a web-site. But that would be also a lot of effort to actually do it. And it could be the right point in time to collect a FAQ of Acupuncture, and also place on such a site. As for me, i am a doctor of medicine, working with hard-drug addicts, also, as a minor part applying acupuncture, and especially looking for " systemic growth " methods, on a budget base, that i could integrate easily in our teambased system, all in the diagnostic field of (western speaking)Hepatitis C-therapy, building up of anorectic/asthenic mental depressive conditions, (Yin-down conditions under severe psychosocial attack), and that could be applied on a " per group " base. I remember that i had a short exchange of mailings some three years ago, about my work and the possibilities for acupuncture/TCM in my then new field with Douglas Eisenstein and someone else. Since then my position at work has changed, i am senior doctor there now, i can give input to our whole team, regarding what methods to apply, and i have made e.g. Ear-Acupuncture a routine part of our detox-scheme. Other " modules " that make sense and can be prescribed according to common-sense diagnostics, are low-budget enough, and can be applied also by unspecialized staff, maybe after a training, and fit into multithreaded daily routines, are still to be found. So, on the basis of what i just mentioned, 1. i am looking for a knowledge base for such " modules " for our whole institution, nothing very sensational, not trying to start a new hype, 2. i am also inviting anyone on this list to give me some advice or direction. I start doing this search here, because the NADA-acupuncture organization, that we are member of, they dont provide much of an excange or communication apart from organizing these courses and seminars. So, thank you for reading this long mail, not written by native speaker of the english language, and so, maybe sounding confused to people not working in this environment. So agein thank you, and feel free to either mail to me privately or via the list, whoever is feeling inspired to do so. enjoy Dieter Maas > Thank You. > And if anyone has any other questions, please let me know. > Lauren > acupuncture-owner > > <<Why is it impossible to access any of the pages at the acupuncture > homepage? > > Go here and you'll see what I mean: > > acupuncture > > Could this be the reason why there are so few active members? > > I wanted to upload pictures of acupuncture meridians to the group home. > > Who is the moderator of this group? >> > > > >
