Aloha Jonathon. . .

 

I did look at pics of what you refer to as bridgestone. We have vendors at

the craft venues I attend who try to sell carved stones. They don't move very

well, then they offer them to us for sale. Although we do sell tumbled and

carved stones. Katrina Raphael's feeling is that this can enhance the luminosity

of stones and make more practical for use as in case of spheres, eggs, massage

tool shapes, cabochons cut for jewelry. We tend to avoid anything that is not

enhancing to properties of stone or its use. Even in the case of jewelry making

I would rather see something set or wire wrapped than drilled. Nature knows

best.

 

However. . .If the stone speaks to you. . answer the call. My intuitive

feeling it is the 'rune' etched on the rock that is causing an affect. I know

little about runes other than that many ancient cultures including Cherokee and

Native American used them for divination. You may be able to get result from

google. If you get any results, let me know, as now my curiosity has been

piqued. . .

 

There is a term called bridge that refers to a stone that is naturally bent in

formation that would not normally be so. I have one such piece of quartz.

Stone appreciators like to see if it's glued as in 'repaired' but it isn't. I

have often seen Kyanite pieces formed that way and they are usually the first to

go as Kyanite is an excellent communication and chakra alignment tool and

bridges are about transformation.

 

As to the value of stones. The price of a stone has nothing to do with it's

value and it's value to you has nothing to do with it's value to someone else.

We attract people of all ages and those of varying knowledge of stones.

Sometimes youngsters will ask 'which stone is most valuable' and they usually

get the answer 'Which one wants to go home with you?' We try to never cross the

line of 'selling something for sake of selling'. I have seen things on line

that are four times the cost of what we charge.

 

Quartz is the 'mother of all stones' and has intrinsic

properties-amplification, energy transmission, memory that has made it the

darling of the universe in it use in electronics, communication venues, etc.,

etc, Other minerals properties enhance and add specific properties of other

minerals and all related to quartz, but I dare say you would be hard put to

switch it out with a piece of cat scat and get the same results.

When I think about it really: all meditation,

all crystal work, boils down to power

issues.

 

Whether you use a crystal to enhance your

healing process or to reduce your stress,

it all comes down to exercising power over the

ailment or stressor.

 

That is my feeling.

 

I have used crystals for years now, even

gemstones, I might as well find out what is

going on with this rock too.

Not with some of todays clumping litters . We used to have a cat (

R.I.P., Mitz) who would take clumps out of the litter box and play with

them

Kindly visitors would find and pick up these " rocks " and put them in

with my crystals and stones

Hi! You are right. It just didn't occur to look at it from that

perspective. I didn't make the connection between my current issues

and my cystal (maybe they are considered stones). You are right,

there is a message and lesson in everything, and I could never get

through this part of my life without my crystals.

 

Every time I go to sleep, my crystals are next to me. Maybe that's

taking it a bit far. But as I fall asleep, I love holding them in my

hands and charging them.

I left my favorite calcite in my pocket that was very special to me... it too

went through the wash and lost some of its color and was scarred. Your response

applied exactly to my situation at the time. That happened quite some time ago

and I am still thinking about it... now I can put it to rest.

Hi! Well maybe I already realize the answer. I had accidently left my

Cats-Eyes in the pocket of my jeans, which went through the laundry.

(Completely regret this). Some of the coloring has disappeared. Is

there any way to get it back?

Hi everyone,

 

I am new here and having some severe problems handling newly

discovered sensitivities to EMF, overhead electrical wires, and so

much other things even other people's negative energies. Within my

home, I am slowly accumulating orgone generators for each room but it

does not help with phone interactions.

 

I am a Reiki II practicitioner and do self-treatment everyday but what

can I do to reduce the harmful effects of interacting with others or

even being outside my home? My empathy level changed recently and I

was not prepared for the sudden change.

 

Any suggestions that might help me?

Go to YouTube and do a search for " Donna Eden " .

 

Do all of her exercises -- especially the " Zip Up " - the " Hook-Up and

Aura Part I and Part II

 

You may have holes in your aura, your aura may be disconnected from

your body, and you may need to learn how to zip up your central and

governing meridians.

Hello, From my own experience I think it would be great for you to start doing the Celtic weave multiple times a day, Zip up and Hook up. See Donna Eden's book for details. You could also repeat 3 times the phrase that says "All that does not belong to me leave immediately" That helps with emotions from other people. How is your stress level normally? Normally I am happy, upbeat and positive. When I interact (even

online!) with people with any other emotions, I get the effects and

feel tired and depressed even when I wasn't 10 minutes before. I seem

to have been like this for last 12 years however after reiki training

I seem more conscious of when it is happening.

 

Thank you both, I will look for the exercises.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I had that experience before. Specially when the person I am talking about is unbalanced. In addition to the other very fine suggestions put forward here, you

might try this exercise from Rose Rosetree's book, " Empowered by

Empathy. " This is the condensed version of what she calls 'Coming Home'.

 

Sit quietly, eyes closed, and take several (about 7) deep breaths.

Then ask yourself, " breath, how are you? " and feel the quality of your

breath. Take another deep breath and ask " body, how are you? " and see

how your body is feeling at that moment. Take another deep breath and

ask, " mind, what do you have to tell me? " And so on. Keep doing this,

taking a slow, deep breath in between each one, and check on your

emotions, soul, spirit, and aura. Be aware of your own self at all

the different levels.

 

Then, with your eyes still closed, and feet flat on the floor, ground

yourself by picturing a cord going from the base of your spine all the

way down into the earth, to the core. Do this for a minute or two.

 

Take seven more deep breaths. Then focus your thoughts and awareness

outside of you and slowly, (from 1 to 5) count your way back to

awareness and open your eyes.

 

This will help you know what feelings are yours and what belongs to

others. You should do this every day, especially before you interact

with other people. It seems like it takes a long time but after a

while, it gets easier/faster.

Thank you so much, I will try this soon. Yes, most of the problem is

feeling emotions and pain and energy that is not my own at all.
