Laura,

Lymes is one of the most wide spread and difficult to cure bacterial

infections. The disease can be life threatening and is very difficult

to deal with when it becomes a chronic infection.

When was she diagnosed and how long had she had symptoms (does she

believe that she knows exactly when she was infected)?

How are her joints and lymph glands? Any paralysis or numbness? How

about rashes? Headaches? Vision and hearing?

There are so many symptoms, so many areas that the disease can

attack. She should also be aware that there are several co-infections

that often accompany lymes (bacterial and parasitic). One must not

assume that every symptom you have during a lymes infection is

related to the borreallis. I have some information in allopathic

areas of treatment that are perhaps not pertinent to this board.). If

she desides to go the anti-biotic route (such as doxycyclene or the

like) feel free to contact me by e-mail. As far as the board goes,

even on anti-biotics, there are many options to support the body

herbaly and nutritionaly during such a crisis.

I would advise her to self educate, unlike a case of strep throat,

one needs to be very pro-active in their treatment descisions (so

much is being learned so rapidly, what may have been considered

appropriate treatment 6 months ago is no longer the case). Too many

people have found this out too late.

Best wishes and prayers,

Richard

Dear Laura,

The Total Body Cleanse Program as found in the files should handle it for her. She needs to get on to heavy doses of Garlic right away. She should also be on Echinacea and Cayenne as well.

Do you know what stage of Lyme she is now in??? If she has reached the arthritic stage then other things would need to be done as well from an emergency viewpoint.

Love,

thanks for your kind offer. I have forwarded all the messages I've received and I've forwarded the total body cleanse. I have emailed her then and told her to check into all of this and hopefully catching it early she will be able to beat it. Thanks again and I'll forward this on to her as well.

You're welcome hon.

She is always welcome to call me, or send me an e-mail to request my recent lecture. This would help to educate her in natural healing so that she could take full responsibility for the condition herself. It is not difficult to handle IIIIFFFF it is attacked aggressively in the early stages. But the condition must be handled very aggressively and a program should be started immediately.

Sorry, Linda,

Lyme Disease is in Florida, I moved to PA from there just over a year ago and was diagnosed just before we left. Hope you are on some Lyme newsgroups, and I would also be interested in the answer, one of the reasons I joined was I am up to 15 meds and none are for Lyme, most for other chronic illnesses but I will save that for another email. If this is addressed in one of the files, please direct me there, I have severe cognitive problems and did read all the emails sent me when I joined but that was about my limit.

Thanks, Michele

P.S. Linda or Doc, if you would like to backchannel me with the info or to talk Linda, my personal email is: mtownsend29

There is a homeopathic site that promises the book they sell will tell me how to cure it in 72 hours but I'm really wanting to find out what to do now.

I've had lyme's disease twice and, as far as I know, the only tick you can get it from is the deer tick which is sooo incredibly small you can hardly see it. Because later it can develop into such serious problems, I went the antibiotic route. If you find out a natural way of curing it I'd love to know about it. I would first get a blood test and see if it tests positive for lyme's. It's really the only way to know for sure if you have it. I would also monitor it with blood tests if I went the natural route. The worst symptoms of lyme's disease can lay dormant and develop long after you think it's not there anymore. I know of too many people who are totally incapacitated a few years after having unchecked Lyme's disease in their system.

Hi: Garlic is good for this, it is a natural antibiotic, goldenseal, (do not take goldenseal for more than ten days, this is another natural antibiotic) kelp and zinc. Alfalfa, dandelion root, horsetail (shave grass). Also redclover (blood cleanser) Start treatment now, or other symptoms or illnesses will start to develope. Wishing you good health, Meganfeathermoon2000 <the14th_moon wrote: Hi I was bitten by a tick on Tuesday. It's looking a lot like it might be a lyme disease bite. I have read that it does - Elson Haas, and Kevin Trudeau and others

I have read talked about that. I have a sister-in-law that has it

and isn't open to ideas like this but I thought of her when I read

it. I did the fasting for menopause starting up and endometriosis

that just came on suddenly. It was childbirth pain for a week on

end and unbearable, it has reduced to a couple of days and I know it

will stop = the fasting is helping all areas of my body heal.

Keep reading on the internet. Lots of sites with recipes, methods

and information that support this.

Dear Marti,

I am sorry I don't know of any official treatments - even

alternative. But my one experience is that you need to make sure

that it is Lyme Disease. A friend of mine was diagnosed with Lyme

disease, ended up being colon cancer. But it went undiagnoised as

such for 6 months. If it had been diagnosed earlier he may still be

alive. He was in his 50, left a wife, and 2 teenage daughters.

That said:

This is a case where you do use antibiotics. Use everything you

can. You didn't say what the symptoms are ... that would indicate

what you might do.

If the have been tested, and verified ... try massage and

acupuncture. I am a Thai Yoga Massage Therapist. And I can say that

I have never treated someone with Lyme disease, so I can't say what

this kind of massage may do. Though, from what I have studied, (it

is prevalent here in my neck of the back woods)because I have been

bitten by so many ticks, my kids too, and parents and grandparents

and friends .... I know that Lyme disease creates joint pain, which

may respond to massage or yoga. Try shiatsu. I would think anything

that helps work with the joints, Glucosamine (?) maybe .... but

really I am shooting in the dark, and everyone is so different, in

what works for each person. And perhaps anything that helps the body

move the " toxins " out. TCM

So, to repeat, if they have not had the actual test ... have them get

it. As it could be something else. In my friends case .... it was

really so sad. And such a little thing, that meant knowing for

sure ... or being 80% right.

All the best,

Terra

Teri - I have recovered from Lyme Disease and consider myself very,

very healthy today. I used only an alternative approach. I had an

amazing holistically-minded doctor here to help guide me, but I think

it also involved being awakened to all that I could do for my own

body/mind/spirit, too. It's also part of what made me so passionate

about taking back control of your health.

I'd be more than happy to talk more with your client about my personal

experience and the kinds of things I did if she/he wants to contact

me. You can find an e-mail and phone number at my site, which always

is listed with my signature.

We have a new person who is fighting lyme disease. Lyme

disease is an interesting problem. It is only recently that doctors have

realized that bacteria and micobacteria are responsible for things like this.

Doctors seem unable to fathom what they can't see, and that includes candida.

I do know of a woman who did take the antibiotic protocol offered by the

doctors and got her life back from lyme disease.

Naturally, I am not sure how to fight lyme disease other

than to arm yourself with beneficial bacteria and drink pau d'arco and eat

foods which are antibacterial, but I will help you look online for resources

and testimonials regarding beating lyme disease the natural way.

Well Thank you Kelly,

I've tried many things and can probably share much with the group too. I'm

a notch better than I was say six months ago, but of course that never seems

good enough when you're dealing with neurological Lyme. I started out with

terrible viral meningitis back in the summer of 2005, where I spent most

of my days in bed writhing in pain. So I've come along way since then, but

it still remains disheartening though I've seen some dramatic improvement

in my health lately.

Hi Kelly,The author of "Healing Lyme' is Stephen Buhner a master herbalist. He has a whole protocol for treating lyme and its coinfections. Me and my daughter used his protocol when we first started treating ourselves. We also have used salt/c and MMS. Two other excellent protocols for killing lyme and co. But remember, if you do not detox the toxins out as you kill you will not get better!Best of Luck!SusanOn Jan 28, 2009, at 6:24 PM, John wrote: Hello Ray, That book sounds worth checking out.
