Elements of the nature

 

I am in the process of giving details about elements. The following

is not exhaustive. I am making a bigger note. In the meantime, the

following will help you in choosing mudras as per your problems.

Thumb is fire, index finger is air, middle finger is ether, ring

ringer earth, little finger water. The mudras are combinations to re-

balance the elements in the body to cure the diseases.

Nature has provided us with five basic elements - earth, fire,

space, water and air. The universal presence of these elements

affect the functioning of our body and mind.

 

ELEMENTS OF NATURE:

 

SPACE: Holds the controlling key to the entire body. Eliminates

toxins from the body keeping it healthy and fit. The body computer -

this element maintains cerebro-spinal fluid, nervous system, all the

glands and retains balance in all the five elements. It controls

thyroid and parathyroid glands and throat. Helps eliminate disorders

relating to hearing, sight, speech and memory.

 

AIR : Regulates chest and lungs, heart, thymus and cell formation in

the body. Controls emotions, balances temperament and enhances

purity of mind and soul.

 

FIRE: Controls stomach, spleen, liver, pancreas, adrenal glands.

Maintains temperature of body, activities of all the organs,

formation of blood, flesh, fats and bones, purification of skin. It

produces essential juice for digestion.

 

WATER : Controls reproductive organs, sex and lymphatic glands.

Regulates production of tissues, cells, bone-marrow, flesh, nerves

and antibodies that grow out of these glands to ensure perfect

health.

 

EARTH : Controls whole physical structure of body, bones and flesh.

Physical poise, creation, and all the senses are regulated by this

element. You must have noticed the correlation between the 7 colors

and five elements with the chakras and glands in the sequential

order. Red being the color, earth - the element for the root chakra

and the super-renal gland, for instance.

 

Healing for a specific problem requires healing of the associated

element with the associated color at the associated chakra to arrive

at quick results.
