Me again!

I forgot to mention not to get oils in your eyes. It will BURN

and hurt. Flush with a carrier oil or milk.

Rub fingers with lemon juice to clean the oils off. There is

another way but I forget just now.

I'm not an aromatherapist though I may continue to study and

become one. I don't even play an aromatherapist on TV.

Everything I mention should be researched BY YOU before you use

it. I have not personally tried every blend I will share.

And now....the yummiest blends. My gift to you.

For a hectic time in your life when you want balance and

relaxation while staying focused:

8 drops grapefruit

1 drop black pepper

1 drop ylang ylang

I'm helping my kids' theatre troupe put a play in a theatre

festival. Costuming, Publicity, rehearsals - you name it. They

should name this blend after me. " Dawne's blend " b/c I wear it

in my personal scenter for about 5-6 hours a day. It works

folks!

For cellulite

15 mls carrier oil [fractionated coconut oil]

4 drops grapefruit

3 drops cedarwood

(for some reason patchouli comes to mind also. perhaps as a

sub. for cedarwood)

You need to use regularly. I'd say once a week and watch for

results.

Athlete's foot

5 drops tea tree

2 drops peppermint [for adults]

1 tablespoon sea salt

great foot bath

Again, water will not dilute E.O.s Add to salt and shake to

disperse. Then add to water.

for a foot powder:

5 dr. tea tree

2 dr. peppermint

2 TBSP cornstarch

1 TBSP baking soda

Cold sores

2 dr. tea tree

5 mls aloe vera gel

Stretch marks:

4 drops neroli

4 drops lavender

5 mls Apricot kernal oil

10 mls jojoba

When battling jealousy:

eucalytpus and lemon

this is like a cold shower - a real wake up call and helps to

clarify things

For panic:

lavender and ylang ylang

mood swings:

lemon and lavendear with a touch of peppermint [for adults only]

insomnia:

1 drop lavender and 3 drops orange on cotton ball in pillow case

**Neroli and ylang-ylang are good sedative oils. they relax and

are also aprodiasiacs. sometimes the best boost for intimacy is

to relax so you can't go wrong.

I will share other good combos that were mentioned during the

lecture. I don't have proprotions.

For asthma - Eucalyptus/Tea Tree/Orange in a pot of water on the

stove. LOTS of water on very low heat. All E.O.s are

flammable. Use caution and common sense.

My 10 year old daugther is using an asthma blend diffused in her

room at night. It was blended for me. I don't know the ratios.

Lemon

Ravensara

Tangerine

SHE LOVES IT!! We've used it 2 nights so we aren't yet looking

for results. Will keep the list posted in about 2 months. I

use ONE drop on the pad.

NOTE: My wellness center is fab! You tell them your

needs/concerns and they give suggestions. They blend right

there for you which is a life saver. I would love to have

Ravensara and Tangerine oils but I didn't have the money at that

time. For about $6.50 I got my daughter what she needed,

professionally blended. Also, they give options and you can

smell them all before you make your choice. I hope all of you

have such a resource.

Eucalyptus/Peppermint in diffuser for adults to boost

respiratory system.

For confidence:

neroli/ylang ylang

Stress relief:

neroli/bergamot

Focus and confidence:

neroli/grapefruit/basil

Liver tonic:

lemon/grapefruit

After sports blend [use regularly, don't wait for injury]

grapefruit oil removes lactic acid

lavender oil

For teething

lavendar in jojoba oil. rub on outside of face where you

suspect the pain is. so for lower back teeth you'd gently

massage the jaw area.

OH, and people on any medications to thin the blood.... NO

E.O.s!

General immune boost:

peppermint/carrier/lemon in the area of your throat

Something was said about diabetes and the pancreas. My notes

MAY BE WRONG. do the research!

a personal scenter tucked in bra or pocket of peppermint/lemon.

I have here that it helps liquify the blood and prevent vericose

veins. Also I remember them saying that you should not massage

vericose veins.

The #1 blend for diabetes

lemon/ylang ylang

for depression:

bergamot

irritability:

lavender/ylang ylang

stubborness

5 lavender/1 peppermint

For new beginnings

eucalyptus and lime [i LOVE LIME! if you don't have it, go buy

it!!]

There is another blend to help you when 'in a rut' but I can't

find it in my notes or recall it. Anyone have suggestions?

A bit on carrier oils

grapeseed oil should have no smell. if it smells, it's gone

rancid.

jojoba lasts a long time.

buy what you need even if buying in bulk will save you some

money. throwing out bad oils won't save you any moolah.

I learned a bit about hydrasols and dispersants. More is coming

in level 2.
