Guest guest
Dear Shawn... Let me address your concerns and offer a few suggestions... First of all, when did I say that I am always correct? This is my experience and my beliefs, and yes, I have been very fortunate to train and study under a master homeopath for many, many years... Information that I freely and openly share with the group... As such, I explained why I felt this was not homeopathy in it's best form, and gave an alternative solution to the problem, a brief lay out as to how I approach homeopathy- which other lay out can I offer?... Not that I want to start a debate between methods, but instead of saying, " you aren't always correct " , perhaps it would be more constructive to relate to me your experiences with oscillococcinum, and how you have used it, for which symptoms and rubrics... And perhaps actually answer the concerns I have raised regarding oscillococcinum... As of now, you have not said anything constructive, only attacking me for a perception that you have that I think I am always correct. An assumption that you seem to be actually demonstrating yourself at the moment, since you do not even find it worthwhile to help us understand your support of these remedies, except for general statements of, " they work for me... " Are you always correct, that we should take this at face value, without thought, rhyme or reason? Likewise, you may use traditional homeopathic remedies and not get results, but let's discuss how you use them. I don't always use remedies traditionally, classically if you will, and if you would like to discuss the limitations of the use of classical remedies that is a fine subject to toss around. But again, to just say, " they don't work for me " , and act as if you have the definitive word on traditional remedies- a term you did not even define, without any futher elucidation, offers extremely little to those who are trying to learn from this board- and the complex subject of homeopathy at that. Instead of being an asset to this board, messages like this set you in the light of being not just a little egotistical, self-absorbed, and unwilling or more likely, unable, to help assist those around you... I say this to you with the best intentions to assist you in refining how you are perceived, as a fellow teacher and homeopath. Now as the moderator of this group, I strongly urge you to keep in mind posting etiquette and encourage you to disagree with me, but with some substance behind it, so perhaps the disagreement, instead of being confusing and devisive, can be educational to all- not least of which, being me... And I must warn you, another personal attack such as this will not be tolerated, you will be banned. Sincerely, Misty L.
