Dulcimer music and chanting

[Guest guest]

Sat Nam,

Surely among all the musicians that are involved in this yoga - there is one

that has chanted to/with a dulcimer. I am searching for music to play, I am not

per se a musician but would love to end my classes or for that matter begin a

class with a chant and my dulcimer.

Thanks for your help.

Sat Naam,

I have a couple of dulcimers and have used them in chanting and playing kirtan

pretty frequently. It's been awhile since I've played them though. I don't

have any written dulcimer music for chanting/kirtan. What I do is I tune it to

a mode that I like and then play around with it to come up with a tune. It's

great fun and very satisfying to chant with a dulcimer.

Email me if you'd like to chat about it more.

Blessings to you,
