Guest guest Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 Dear ones, Please indulge me for a moment on the following: The first time I saw a KY teacher was in Las Vegas years ago. As the class waited for the door to the classroom to open, she appeared as if a vision. She was physicaly very beautiful, and radiated strongly. She was amazing to watch as students flocked around her like moths to the flame. Her teaching - well that was something else again. The couple I spoke with after class were upset - as was I with the teaching. Why? 1) No modifications were given for any pose at any time. 2) She made the class feel that if they didn't give the kriyas at least 3 minutes, - we had no business being there. 3) She INSISTED we all sign up for her Reiki healing class. I mean - she wouldn't take no for an answer, and wanted to know why some people wouldn't sign up. The teaching was so ineffective and disturbing....I didn't give KY another look until 5 years later with the Raviana boom. Saturday I took a KY class at an Ashram in Kansas City and the facilitator was truly great Thanks, Jackie Quote
