breath of fire

I'm wondering when is appropriate for young teen girls to start Breath of Fire.

I've read that

one shouldn't start until after puberty. But I've also read that it's okay to

start after one is 12

years old. I'm working with a 12 1/2 year old girl, whom I think would benefit

from Breath of

Fire, but she hasn't gone all the way through puberty yet. Can I teach it to

her?
