Dear Bhaskar ji,

//Saturn follows saturn in the scheme of the Dashas//

I guess you meant Saturn follows Jupiter in the scheme of the dashas...

That was a lovely post touched with spirituality...I totally agree with you.

It's simply the truth or reality.

Thanks for the same..

Dear Renu ji,

But I already had a party on You tonight.

Okay my words in hindi mean nothing. They are just connected to the

" Heart " and " Love " . All such gibberings. Nothing much of importance.

Yes but your win is of some weight. A win is a win.

best wishes,

Bhaskar.

Dear All,FinallyI thank you all once again for participating and special thanks to those who are sitting up to see the results.:-)The younger brother died on 19th July 2002 in the dasha of Ve-Ju-Ra. He died of a sudden cardiac arrest.Renu ji came the closest with Jupiter Antar though she picked up Moon Pratyantar while it was Rahu who struck the blow. This is really commendable. See her message where she had taken Rahu as afflicting moon, but it was Rahu, not moon who killed finally! Congratulations Renu ji. That was wonderful.Renu ji said://Venus is the 8L for 3HL Saturn, the younger brother. Venus is placed in 3H and there is an exchange between 3HL Sa & 11HL Ve. Jupiter is the maraka 2HL for 3H of younger bro and also placed 2nd to Saturn the 3HL. Moon is the 6HL of sickness to 3H. Moon is in gandantha too. Moon is afflicted by Rahu. The double transit of Sa & Ju is on 3H from lagna during this period indicating some event to do with younger bro.//I would request Renu ji to elaborate her readings and give her detailed analysis.I thank you all for your patience!I am repeating the table here for quick reference.

Dear Manoj ji,

I am really grateful to you for giving an opportunity learn even after the

results are out. Your interest awakens us from our slumber!

Yes, agree with almost all your points. Anyway should we not forget that Saturn

is also the 12HL to 3H of the native? On the fatal day Saturn and Mars have

exchanged their stars..I don't know how far it is relevant here.

6HL Moon was debilitated and in the star of Saturn. Transit Me happened to be in

the 6th and unfortunately in maraka Jupiter's star.

In the deceased's chart the 4 planet transit combo happened in his 7H.

But all these are post-mortem....since now we know the date of demise.

blessings,

Renu

his debilitation Rashi and is at the edge of the sign, Saturn still aspects

his own MT house. Also there is not much affliction to the 3H in transit

(Saturn and Mars are aspecting it, one is the house lord other being the

3L/10L). As you may have read other analysis, there has been much more

affliction to 3H/3L in other dashas/antar, yet the event did not happen. Even

Rahu's affliction of Saturn is well beyond the 5 degree orb of intense

affliction.

he could do so with not that much transit affliction helping him, even over

powering Saturn's aspect on his own house. In this case, Jupiter being exalted,

probably gave him the required strength to execute his role as Markesh.

and Mo (6L) are both very quick planets and could not be used effectively in

transit to time events.

Would Renu Ji kindly enlighten me on the " why " . I had considered Ve-Ju

very carefully and interestingly for the very reasons why Renu Ji thought it

could happen (double transit of Ju/Sa) I thought it is unlikely. My reasoning

was :

not moon who killed finally! Congratulations Renu ji. That was wonderful.

Dear Renu Ji,

//But all these are post-mortem. ...since now we know the date of demise//

Exactly the point! Especially the points about Me, Mo and Mars. They would have been in their respective positions several times in the Venus Dasha. So they are not useful as predictors. But Me and Mo being 8L, 6L they are important predictors that unfortunately cannot be used effectively due to their speed. Sa being 12L I feel is over powered by his LL credential, especially since Kumba is also a MT sign. But 12L credential cannot be completely ignored.

I was always convinced of involvement of Venus - Rahu in this saga. I was unable to insert Jupiter in between !!! Neelam Ji is right, we need to look at alternate dashas as well. I have been lazy and not going that route, that now looks like I need to.

Regards,

-Manoj

Dear Manoj ji,I am really grateful to you for giving an opportunity learn even after the results are out. Your interest awakens us from our slumber!Yes, agree with almost all your points. Anyway should we not forget that Saturn is also the 12HL to 3H of the native? On the fatal day Saturn and Mars have exchanged their stars..I don't know how far it is relevant here.6HL Moon was debilitated and in the star of Saturn. Transit Me happened to be in the 6th and unfortunately in maraka Jupiter's star.In the deceased's chart the 4 planet transit combo happened in his 7H.But all these are post-mortem. ...since now we know the date of demise.blessings,Renuancient_indian_ astrology, Manoj Chandran <chandran_manoj@ ...>

Dear Neelam ji,

Thanks for illuminating us more on this.

When Chara Dasa applied to native's deceased brother, it was Li/Ca/Sc.

GK Venus is placed in Libra though own house....and in the star of Rahu placed

in the 6th from Dasha Libra and GK Venus.

Ca is the 7th house of the native and lord Mo is placed in the 6th from MD house

Libra.

Scorpio is the 2H from MD, Libra.

Dear Neelam Ji / Renu Ji,

Could I present this event with a different perspective (based on

degrees of planets only), if you / members feel interested. Thank you.

//I was unable to insert Jupiter in between//I am giving another similar case. This boy also lost his younger brother to sudden death. Role of LL is important for any major event to happen.

Dear Manoj ji,I am really grateful to you for giving an opportunity learn even after the results are out. Your interest awakens us from our slumber!Yes, agree with almost all your points. Anyway should we not forget that Saturn is also the 12HL to 3H of the native? On the fatal day Saturn and Mars have exchanged their stars..I don't know how far it is relevant here.

6HL Moon was debilitated and in the star of Saturn. Transit Me happened to be in the 6th and unfortunately in maraka Jupiter's star.In the deceased's chart the 4 planet transit combo happened in his 7H.

Dear Neelam Ji / Members,

Here is my analysis about the happening of event.

Chart of Younger Brother is considered.

Birth Details - 11 dec 86 / 11:15 AM

Capricorn Ascendant 29.21 degrees

Natal Indications

Natal Rahu afflicts Natal Sun with a very close influence. Difference of only 0.21 degrees may be noted.

Sun rules longevity for native and significator for heart also. Hence the longevity & heart related problems are indicated.

Mars / 4th Lord also not strong enough to give protection for heart troubles.

Operating Sub period (at the time of death)

Rahu, which is an afflictor to longevity (Sun) of native in this case.

Transit Influence

Transit Ra / Ke were stationery since long @ 24 degrees prior to the unfortunate event and creating continous stress on Natal 8L (Sun).

Transit Ra / Ke influence (again stationery) on Natal Ra / Ke. Closeness was < 2 degrees.

Collision of 8L and 12L (< 0.2 degree influence).

The role of Nodes and Sun were responsible for this event.

Warm Regards,

Deepak Sharma

Dear Neelam Ji,

You are absolutely correct. Role of LL is critical and in focussing too much on 3H/3L I lost count of the fact that Ju is the LL for the Elder Brother. Some times one tends to go in circles and circles and miss the main Exit !!!

Dear Deepak Ji,

Thank you for your SA perspective. Regarding Rahu/Ketu going stationary, is there a quick way to look for this during the year? The only way I know of is to plug each month into JHora and watch what happens. Is there a quick shot way/tool/website that has this information handy. I completely agree that Rahu/Ketu going stationary can be a critical Transit clue for those using True Nodes.

Regards,

Dear Neelam Ji / Members, Here is my analysis about the happening of event. Chart of Younger Brother is considered. Birth Details - 11 dec 86 / 11:15 AM

Capricorn Ascendant 29.21 degrees Natal Indications

Natal Rahu afflicts Natal Sun with a very close influence. Difference of only 0.21 degrees may be noted.

Sun rules longevity for native and significator for heart also. Hence the longevity & heart related problems are indicated.

Mars / 4th Lord also not strong enough to give protection for heart troubles.

Operating Sub period (at the time of death) Rahu, which is an afflictor to longevity (Sun) of native in this case.

Warm Regards, Deepak Sharma --- On Mon, 11/16/09, neelam gupta <neelamgupta07@ gmail.com> wrote:

Dear all, Namaste. Post mortem is not that bad. It is necessary as it opens up the various possibilities for finding the reasons of triggering the event . As Neelamji pointed out, it is a critical point that the Lagna Lord is playing a major role of vital authority in the scheme of things. So after solving the quiz, the post quiz discussion allows to emerge so many new concepts in prediction. It is really interesting that the science holds so much from us. The use of alternate dasa system is also another important tool. That is where experience comes into the picture. Neelamji's flourishes made good of her not participating in the event. It is heartening to see the group active and educative. With best regards,S.R.Balsubramaniam--- On

Transit Me happened to be in the 6th and unfortunately in maraka Jupiter's star.In the deceased's chart the 4 planet transit combo happened in his 7H.But all these are post-mortem. ...since now we know the date of demise.blessings,Renuancient_indian_ astrology, Manoj Chandran

Dear Manoj Ji,

The Stationary movement of Ra/Ke can be easily tracked in Ephemeris. When not under the Stationary influence, Ra / Ke travels around 1 degree in ten days.

Please find enclosed the monthly transit file (from 1955 to 2058) which could be used as a reference for this purpose. Stationary effects can be clearly observed during the months when Ra / Ke’s degrees are not changed or changed in fractions comparing with previous month.

E.g - You may note the coming Stationary effect of Ra / Ke during dec09, Jan10, feb10 at around 27 degrees.

Warm Regards,

Dear Deepakji, Manoj Chandran ji,

What could be the effects of a planet going stationary ? Whether Node or

any other ?

What happens to the effects-significations related to the planet, in the

individuals Life, when a particular planet goes stationary and resumes

movement once again ?

Dear all,

Postmartem is very good with authentic data as one can really work his way upoto the event in a natives Life and study the astrological factors which show the cause for same. One can check what has been missed and the mistakes tried not to be done again when similiar case comes before us. Postmartem is also very good for research work when we identify a common happenning and event amongst many individuals and study the common element present in the charts belonging to those individuals. This brings us to creation or discovery of Dictums. Another advantage is that in our busy Lives we personally rarely sit to postmartem events in charts, but on groups due to participatins , this factor is voluntarily and mandatorily imposed.

Postmartem BUT , is also very bad fo certian matters. People may unnecessarily co-relate some astrological factors to some event and prove it right . And theres nobody to disapprove it. because in this vast science of astrology one can even connect the rain falling to astrological factors and so can one do with a child falling in a well. Any kaju , Pista and badaam today can do postmartem in astrology without being rejected for his claims. One can in postmartem produce big thesis and write fat books about why this happened when with a particular individual. But this does not mean necessarily that th person may know how to predict. In same way people after connecting a event in postmartem feel very satisfied at having done a good job. But just postmaryem does not make one an astrologer.

Can a person who has done a postmartem and then tried to bring out some pointers responsible for the event, use those same pointers to pinpoint the same event in any other natives chart who has experienced same event ? There lies the crux of postmartem. If one can do this then he has done a good postmartem. If one cannot do this, then he is playing and fooling with himself and others reading his postmartem.

best wishes,

Bhaskar.

Dear Bhaskar Ji,

Below is my humble opinion -

Overall results depend upon the Strength of Natal Planets particularly the strength of sub period lord in operation.

Transit effect of Stationary Nodes are always negative.

In case, transit Nodes are Stationary and closely aspecting or conjuncting with Natal Planets or ascendant degree, it creates tension related to the significations ruled by those planets in Natal Chart.

Orbit of Influence is 5 degrees for weak planets and 1 degree for strong planets.

Once the orbit of influence is over in transit, native gets relief from nodal disturbances.

Tensions could take the form of Real Troubles if -

Sub period Lord is weak in Natal Chart

Close affliction of Ra / Ke / Both to the planets in Natal Chart and sub period of Nodes or afflicted planet in operation

Other combinations related to the event being checked are also weak / afflicted in transit or in natal chart.

For other planets, results depend upon their rulership / lordship in Natal Chart as well as their own significations. So the results may be positive or negative but are felt for a longer duration. Close transit influence with Natal planets / houses brings favorable or unfavorable incidents provided other factors for event being checked are supporting.

Dear Deepak ji,

Thanks for the reply.

So we have two sets of Stationary Planets to contend with-

1) Stationary planets at birth.

2) Stationary planets in transit.

This is actually a very important aspect of astrology as taught by my

professors . And is mostly missed by everyone as it takes one to pick

up the ephemeris and check the daily motion in order to know this

information.

Will have to study further whenever time is available.

regards/Bhaskar.

transit influence with Natal planets / houses brings favorable or

unfavorable incidents provided other factors for event being checked are

supporting.

Dear Neelam ji,// Role of LL is important for any major event to happen.//yes i also did not look to jup being L/4L as i have mentioned in my post to Manoj ji and instead looked sun as a killer since he was posited in 2ndH of maraka which is also 12H of loss to 3rd(example below). But missed that sun is 9thL(protector/preceptor) I got a chart with tauras lagna who lost his youngest brother sudddenly on 26-10-07 in MER-VEN-SAT.Mer as 2nd L in 3rd with sun4;Ven L/L(6) in 2nd H of maraka and sat® being YK in 7th(though powerful in 7th) with Rahu became a killer aswell by positioning in 7th and ofcourse with the association of a Rahu. There is anexchange betw sat & mars betwen 7/10H with Mars and MO(3rdL) in 10th. Here also L/L became vital by being bhukti lord and posited in 2nd aswell.......D.O.B......26-7-1956T.OB....02HRSP.O.B.......HYDERABADRegards,gopi. , neelam gupta <neelamgupta07 wrote:>> //I was unable to insert Jupiter in between//> > I am giving another similar case. Dear Bhaskar Ji,

I agree with you. PC / laptop users can keep the soft copy of Ephemeris if they find it useful. Even I do the same.

Dear All,I find the options in Parashar software friendly in this regard. it allows the user to customise the windows and how we want to view the information. The speed option is available and changes with time are easy to maneuver on the main screen itself. I am attaching a section of the mainscreen for reference.
