This way, you will be able to have an idea of what " may " happens, come here

with a point of view and, then, ask fellows astrologers what they think of

your delineation. Otherwise, it look like you are asking for free readings.

Thanks for you reply.

Correct me if I am mistaken but Venus is only grossly associated with luxury,the opposite sex etc., but in a deeper level i think Venus is about more subtle and divine qualities and surely helps in spiritual ascend.So, while my interest in the first is non-important ( luxury etc are welcome but I am not spending my energy on them), I am very interested in acquiring the blessings and powers of all the planets to help me in my spiritual progress as well as solve my gross and and other problems so that my attention is not diverted from my spiritual path because of gross problems and remove the problems that may arise in my path because of planetary influences.

Are my views, in your opinion, mistaken?

my sun has venus in simha lagna aspected by jupiter

from 9 H aries.he completed his B.E computers ,got job

and he is now in uk.he likes music but cannot sing

well.though sukra is in satru sthana,in simha rasi,he

got all benefits during the sukra dasa.his dob 30 th

Notice that -

* Mars in Virgo in 11th - 6th house in Natual horoscope (could signify naval portion)

* Ketu in 6th from Lagna in Aries - Malefic in 6th from lagna (could signify naval portion)

* Saturn in 7th from lagna in Taurus - Malefic in 7th from lagna (could signify naval portion)

Thus naturally the involvement of Venus was not essential to cause the disease. But as you pointed out -

Because Venus owns the 7th house (indicating naval

portion), placed in Lagna in the house of lagna (native) and 6th

problems very easly for this horoscope.

Dear Renu ji,

Venus is 6th lord in that horoscope. Mars

debilitated in Navama. But this much does not seems to be enough

to cause a result such as "A female native with Venus in Saggitarius

lagna has one of her kidney's defective, since

birth".

Usually such a result from birth itself demands the

presence of a malefic in the house signifying kidney from birth itself

- and naturally I may expect a malefic in6th or 7th in natural

horoscope; i.e. in Virgo or even Libra.

In the chart you mentioned Venus is the 6th lord.

But that is not enough - at least I would like to know - is it that

Venus is hemned between malefics in the said chart? Mars in 2nd i know;

Dear Sreenadh ji,

No problem....I can share the birth data of the native if it is going to be useful to anyone. I did not do so earlier as I felt rather awkward to post birthdata for each and every querie

Before that let me quote something I read from a translation of Brighu Sutra by Dr Gouri Shankar Kapoor - Ranjan Publications- You got to excuse me since I am not versed in Sanskrit I have no choice but to read these English translations. I cannot judge on the credibility of the transaltions.

Qoute: Planets - TheirAsrological Nature and Influence

Jupiter.......................He governs the blood, liver, veins, arteries and thighs..............

Venus.......................governs ther throat, kidneys, veins and ovaries.............

Unquote.

Accordingly, in this particular horoscope, Venus the 6HL - kidneys - is placed in lagna. Retrograde Jupiter - blood- [but Mars represents blood...right?] aspects lagna -native and Venus - kidneys from 7H.

Let me explain a little more about this case. About year and a half ago....her blood pressure skyrocketed suddenly. She became tired very soon..etc. etc. The cause was unknown. Until then she was a healthy young girl. Finally the doctors diagnosed that one of her kidneys was smaller than the other and that she was born with the defect. Thus the cause of unusual high blood pressure was explained by the medical expatriates.

The phrase in bold letters was only a reason given by the doctors. They may be wrong. Hence if there is no astrological explanation for her health issue....it may be that kidney problem was not present at her birth.

I remember reading Sri K. N. Rao...where he says that a good astrologer could give a precise answer where doctors fail.

10th February 1979 @ 4.35 AM in Kandy, Sri Lanka.

If I not mentin this it would not be fair by the medical profession. She is back to normal and blood pressure under control ....with medication prescribed by her consultant doctor.

Looks like Mars is in Capricorn in natal chart and he is in Cancer in

navamsa chart.

So here Mars will give mixed results - result for both has to be

predicted.

As we are currently only discussing the natal chart, Mars will give

its exaltation results:

* In dasa of Mars

* In antardsa of Mars if supported by the main dasa

Kumar,

Venus in lagna can indicate good looks but there are other factors

that may modify/negate it like:

1. Other malefic in lagna

2. Malefic aspect to lagna

3. Lagna Lord in dustana

4. No strength to lagna lord etc

So when we say " venus in lagna gives good results' we are isolating

effect of Venus.

The net effect of everything provides the results

dear renu ji ,

I doubt the statement of doctors that she born with a defect .As the variation in size of organ need not contribute to the problem in that area unless it has affected the function of the oragns .Also myself now confused the planet which is karak for kidneys .

here in chart the 6th from chart or from natural chart is unafflicted ( which may show internal and external problem ) .

But if we follow by bhava ,karaka ,lord theorey and dasa from birth we can find that 6th house is stronger in ashta varga ,6th Lord is afllicted by rahu ( some says rahu has no drishti again i agree but see the tatwa of planets and the traits of planets can be affected greatly by trikona placement of malefics ) who is with sani ,6th has drishti of shani and karaka for diseases and mishapps ( take rahu or sani ) is afflicted .

Also from birth onwards dasa s r not that favrable .also dasa at the time of problem may be merc ( 7th lord also placed in 2nd house --both maraka places ) and sub of rahu ( who is with sani -another maraka lord ) also sade sathi and other problems .

How is her married life ,also curious abt father and her profession ( since there is parivarthan between 2nd and 9th Lords )

this my opionion and i find tru another calculation again venus ( as 6th and 11th lord ) is very weak which is beyond the scope of discussion ,but need deeper probe to see how as 11th it may giv problems to any elder co borns .

Also another thought i read some where if Kumbha rasi afflicted ( as its 6th from kanya rasi (natural 6th house ) it can also show diceases and here ketu in rasi and Lord sani is afflicted ( but i think it can giv hridroga 9heart diseases ,and yavancharya calls kumbha as hridroga rasi -so is it indicates heart diseases in this chart ?? as natural 5th H is also afflicted heavily .

lagna. Retrograde Jupiter - blood- [but Mars represents blood...right?]

aspects lagna -native and Venus - kidneys from 7H.

Let me

explain a little more about this case. About year and a half ago....her

blood pressure skyrocketed suddenly. She became tired very soon..etc. etc. The

cause was unknown. Until then she was a healthy young girl. Finally

the doctors diagnosed that one of her kidneys was smaller than the other and that she was born with the defect. Thus

the cause of unusual high blood pressure was explained by the medical

expatriates.

The

phrase in bold letters was only a reason

given by the doctors. They may be wrong. Hence if

there is no astrological explanation for her health issue....it may be that

kidney problem was not present at her birth.

I

remember reading Sri K. N. Rao...where he says that a good astrologer

could give a precise answer where doctors fail.

Dear Sunil ji,

I doubt the statement of doctors that she born with a defect .As the variation in size of organ need not contribute to the problem in that area unless it has affected the function of the oragns .Also myself now confused the planet which is karak for kidneys .

I agree. Doctors will always give a reason which may be based on facts when the medical reports support or otherwise based on some guess work....assuming that we the patients would believe whatever they say.

here in chart the 6th from chart or from natural chart is unafflicted ( which may show internal and external problem ) .

In lagna chart 6th lord is not afflicted. But in navamsha, 6HL is conjunct with debilitated Mars in 8th house.

But if we follow by bhava ,karaka ,lord theorey and dasa from birth we can find that 6th house is stronger in ashta varga ,6th Lord is afllicted by rahu ( some says rahu has no drishti again i agree but see the tatwa of planets and the traits of planets can be affected greatly by trikona placement of malefics ) who is with sani ,6th has drishti of shani and karaka for diseases and mishapps ( take rahu or sani ) is afflicted .

She is not married yet. No relationship with a boy even so far. Mother is worried that she is not married but at the same time mother thinks it is not fair to give her in marriage with her disease.

Not a very good relationship with her father. They don't talk much with each other. Reason: father had been very very strict in her childhood. That was one reason that she never wanted to get involved with a boy. She expressed her inner torments through her painitngs. But basically ...father is a good person....She moved out of parents' house as she was not happy with the father.....about 1 1/2 years ago.

and her profession ( since there is parivarthan between 2nd and 9th Lords )

She is Chartered Architect....doing well. Please tell me what relevence this got to do with parivarthana between 2nd and 9th house lords...Of course this would mean that she would have good income. Right? [i am learning]

Sounds interesting. Just for your knowledge...she has an elder sister and two younger brohers. All well educated and professionaly well settled. The elder sister is not keen in marriage [another worry to the parents] ....but no health problems so far.

Her high blood pressure may be due to some heart disease....May be another day in future another doctor will come up with a heart related diagnosis.....then you will be the first informed person by me But I pray and hope that she will be back to normal. She is a sweet girl....doesn't talk much...but very loyal to her selected few friends.

Dear Renu ji, What I have read somewhere is that if both the luminaries are afflicted in the chart, then there is a strong chance of some congenital defect in the native. Probably, the house of affliction and/or planets afflicted could give an indication of the nature and area of problem. I have not read the entire thread. But, looks like you have not shared the birth details of this native. If you wouldn't like to share the birth details for some reason it is OK. In that case, please let me know if both the luminaries are afflicted in the birth chart. If possible, please do share the birth details. Why ....is it because Venus is 11HL ? 6HL & 11HL placed in lagna? Venus is in Ketu's nakshastra....and Ketu is in 6th house of her navamsha owned by Venus? Ketu is in Satrun's nakshastra and is aspected by retrograde Saturn?......

Ve in Ketu's nakshastra ----Ke in Ju's nakshastra ----Ju in Sa's nakshastra......and Sa in Ve's nakshastra..........interconnected!

I may be treading on a wrong path....would like to learn why her Venus would bring afflictions to her elder sister too

Dear Krishna ji,

Well...if you read all the postings regarding this you would have come

across her birth details. I have no hesitation in sharing them with good

people for a good perpose:)

In case you missed it here goes her BD: 10th February 1979, 4.35 AM in

Kandy, Sri Lanka.

I think her luminaries are afflicted....Mars conjunct with Sun; Mars

aspects Moon. But for Saggitarius lagna Mars is also 5HL....a functional

benefic?????

dear renu ji .

yes venus is weak ,more so gulik has given its amsa to lagna where venus placed.

also venus given navamsa to 8th house ,in ketu s star who also has amsa in 6th .

How is her relation with elder sister ?? ( as it may also one of the reason )

I got another theorey may be sreenadhji wont agree the kendra placement of dustana lords will increase dustana effects ,esp in dasa or antara .( dont ask for quotes -sreenadh ji )

Dear Sunil ji,

Thanks...

Her relationship with her elder sister is ...so far good. Her elder

sister is close to the father whereas she is just the opposite. In

many ways they are two extremes. This native is tall and big made.

She doesn't talk much.The sister is small and cute...and talks a lot.

Once again thank u for the feed back .

Ya u can apply on known charts the theoreys as we blv in out put and results .

Ya the relationship means some way it may strain and it may show up i feel .

also u can see how venus sub periods performed so far ,it may giv us a clue

but u hav to work on more charts with more age to make it sure .

Throat mein lafda. Tell the doctor to also check on throat, related glands (thyroid I think?). If there is aspect of Rahu on 2nd house there can be problems to the voice box. Not ploted her horoscope. Following her thread. A few observations :

Rahu which is supposed to be good for 6th house does give Kidney problems. Nairji explained that Rahu is only aspecting 6th house and Saturn is also aspecting 6th house. So from the above it can be infered that the Kidney's are under pressure/squeeze.( Is she a light eater or feels sickly after overeating?) She could be having what is medically known as hydronephrosis. It can be a temporary phenomenon and can be reversed ( consult a good Dr./Homeopath ).

Blood pressure is due to affliction of Sun ( maybe Temp. MD/AD ). The relationship with father is also a pointer in that direction. Does she get extreme colic pain? I do not have time to plot chart but ....... it could be due to deep rooted angst, pain or fear.

Prayers, meditation will help. You can share some of your books/knowledge with her.

For specific remedies please contact the seniors of the group.

She is not married yet. No relationship with a boy even so far. Mother is worried that she is not married but at the same time mother thinks it is not fair to give her in marriage with her disease.

Not a very good relationship with her father. They don't talk much with each other. Reason: father had been very very strict in her childhood. That was one reason that she never wanted to get involved with a boy. She expressed her inner torments through her painitngs. But basically ...father is a good person....She moved out of parents' house as she was not happy with the father.....about 1 1/2 years ago.

Sounds interesting. Just for your knowledge... she has an elder sister and two younger brohers. All well educated and professionaly well settled. The elder sister is not keen in marriage [another worry to the parents] ....but no health problems so far.

Dear Sreenadh ji, Thanks for the link. I got the birth details. Dear Renu ji, I observe the following from the chart: - Moon is in the 8th, with retrograde Jupiter, certainly afflicted. 12th lord Mars occupies the nakshatra of Moon. - Though Sun has combust both Mercury and Mars, please note that he is also afflicted by the close contact of two malefics (Mars is also the 12th lord, and Mercury has kendradhipatya dosha). Also, Sun's dispositor Sat is retrograde and with Rahu. - Sat and Rahu sits in the nakshatra of Venus (Kidneys). Dispositor of Venus is retrograde and in 8th. Venus does not get any beenfic aspects. Fifth house represents kidneys. Its lord Mars is combust. - The native is born during Sat-Sat period (who afflicts Venus) People might argue that Mars and Jupiter are both exalted. But, unfortunately, Mars is combust and Jupiter is retrograde. This prevents them from giving the results of exaltation. Looking at all this, it is quite possible that the doctors were correct.
