Guest guest
" scriptures were also written by MEN " No, many WOMEN women were also Vedic rishis. Theories are NOW made by mankind, but the original meaning of this term was related to Devas > Theos. Mankind had no right to concoct theories. Theories descended from Heavens to enlightened sages. This is not my theory, but what the most ancient nation in the world believed since time immemorial. Those who think sensorily tangible Shrishti to be Real find it hard to imagine that an intangible thing like " Consciousness " of Brahmaa Ji can create any sensorily tangible material entity. Why the human sensory organs must be made the criterion of truth ? If humans cannot perceive a thing, that thing must not exist : it is human egotism and not Reality. Matter is defined by properties which are sensorily perceptible either directly or indirectly. Hence, matter depends on sense organs for its very existence. If sense organs do not exist, matter will lose any definition at all. Reality is beyond sense organs and beyond sensorily perceived world. Reality is not the Perceived material world, but the Perceiver, who is one and the same as the Universal Spirit but exists in innumerable forms known as Jeevas due to bonds of desire generated by and generating karmas. This Reality is immortal, beyond Time and Space. Its eternal or sanatana well being is ensured by Sanatana Dharma. Its knowledge is called Veda, whose eye is Jyotisha which makes us see fruits of past actions including those of past lives and confirms our faith in the existence of this eternal reality in us and induces us to act for its temporal as well as eternal well being. -VJ ======================= == , " rohinicrystal " <jyotish_vani wrote: > > Good start! Guest guest
Dear Krishnanji, The root for Brahma is " brih " meaning 'to grow'. A seed grows into a tree; thoughts grow into action - fruit being the final outcome in both cases. Of course, so thin is the dividing line between free will and destiny that it is not easy to differentiate between the two. One creates new karma while the other is the result of previous karma. Guest guest
Shsstriji, Who created the seed that you talk of? Fruit is not the final outcome but just the SON who just figured out what being his father was about! Perpetuum mobile! There is no line that divides destiny from free-will! The evanescent and nonexistant *thin* line that you describe it as is simply -- ignorance! A meaningful approach that " Aham " promotes " brih " In the 'shristi " is a Very positive frame work. Every ordinary person that can understand " Brahma " ''Shristi " need not be necessarily find issues as complex.as actions'otherwise Known through Karmas have to be performed in such a way that postive out look of shisht is maintained.Options before him are to perform karmas with the faith in superpower and to make an effort to reduce the burden that is carried of past karmas..  Those bewildered with so many things around him have only to be grateful to the God as an opportunity given to reform and develop. Guest guest
Krishnan dada, Why did the ANCIENTS describe FOUR yugas? WHY not just THREE YUGAS that would have fallen in SYNC with our beloved trines in Jyotish? The AAJ-KAL aur KAL? 1-5-9? Bsed on the premise that the trines represent the clock while the kendras represent the circumstances and environments! Standard Jyotish that you and I delve in! Guest guest
Dear krishnan ji, yes you are right. i have an interesting thought. it is not a grand discovery but nevertheless interesting. Did you know that the tidal friction caused by moon is slowly reducing the earth's rate of rotation? This implies that the duration of time of earth day is increasing and is directly proportional to time. This has been astronomically worked out to increase in duration of day by about 1.8 x 10 (to the power of -3) seconds per century. if we do some maths we can find that at some period in the history of earth, 2x10(to the power of 9) years ago, earth would have a 5 hour day instead of the present 24 hours with the time take to revolve around sun also commensurately adjusted . now according to discover channel, national geographic and theoritical science, during this period there was no life on earth. but if there was life and if man existed then, a 5 hour day means the maximum age of man would have been more than 500 years calculating at the current astro rate of 120 years for a 24 hour day. we have read that our seers used to live for hundreds of years. could it be somehow related to this? this also means that in some long distance future, when the earth takes a long long time to complete one day, our age may be in terms of a few years countable on our fingers.... regards santhosh  ________________________________ Vattem Krishnan <bursar_99 Sat, 23 January, 2010 3:53:09 PM Re: Brahma ki sankalpo se shristi rachi  Santosh Ji If itihasas is any source of Knowledge,it is only after Vaman Avatara, the begining of Yuga? But in terms of years,i do not want to guess.Since Dwapara Yuga and Treta Yuga brought out in Itihasas have been glorified through Yuga Purushas, the understanding to mankind of these is specific.Where as Kali Yuga referred as the presnt Yuga is referred to as Kali Yuga Maha Purusha Lord of SEven Hills-Lord Venkateswara The rest,I have to count on Narada Samhita for answering precisely.may be a an issue to look forward from collective as the question was sharp and has something else to unfold. Vattem Krishnan Cyber Jyotish Services (For all counseling services) Dr.B.V.Raman " Fools Obey Planets While  Wisemen Can Control Them " Planets are neutral Controllers of Mans Karma  --- On Sat, 1/23/10, Santhosh <santhosh10 > wrote: Santhosh <santhosh10 > Re: Brahma ki sankalpo se shristi rachi Saturday, January 23, 2010, 4:59 AM  Dear Krishnan ji, can you tell me when was this first yuga running in terms of earth year? i have a specific reason to ask this. i will get back to you after i know the above answer either from you or anybody else in the forum. i am asking for any proof for it. i would just like to know as per tradition/myth or as per purana when did the first yuga begin? regards santhosh  ____________ _________ _________ __ Vattem Krishnan <bursar_99 > Sat, 23 January, 2010 3:11:16 PM Re: Brahma ki sankalpo se shristi rachi  Sir, Transitional issues known through ''Yugas " have to be seen that every person born is guided properly and the bad or evil that troubles and compels humans are not left at the mercy of unknown/evil minds(asuras) by their hold on Shristi.Scope for sanitisation is the perspective in different yugas so that total protection from the Super Power is believed and trusted. Guest guest
Santosh Ji, " The time of the day " (sun rise to Sunset) always varies due to chhnage in solictices. This apart scientifically the earth roataion when decreases,it has impact space as measuting units. Scientifically, interaction of Man with Nature was always tied with his explorations and development of tools.Today the pace of technology has increased many folds to understand many things which has a serious impact on the 8th house of ant person. Your question earlier has compelled to go through Sarvardha Chintamani. As per prof Rao man has lived even more than 1000 years. This according to him was possible due to the Yogas. It is interesting to refer to Mooni Yogas, where Man can have immense power to over come death. While sayin si he refers to hatha Yogas. Most of the Seers,Maunivaryas lived in the Nature by depending on nature alone. It appears that even 'sun rays' when falls on man his hunger also get reduced without taking consuming solids and liquids. These facts available in litterature are far from verification and r subject to scietific inquiry. Now 5111 year is going in kaliyuga.According to Sripati 5 years make one yuga and 12 yugas make 60 years referring 20 names of years starting from Parabhava. The cycles continues. Shristi is difficult to coprehens and brahma is beyong our imagination.need to admit our ignoarance for many facts of nature. A good explanation and I concur with views. Vattem Krishnan Cyber Jyotish Services (For all counseling services) Dr.B.V.Raman " Fools Obey Planets While  Wisemen Can Control Them " Planets are neutral Controllers of Mans Karma  --- On Sat, 1/23/10, Santhosh <santhosh10 wrote: Santhosh <santhosh10 Re: Brahma ki sankalpo se shristi rachi Saturday, January 23, 2010, 5:46 AM  Dear krishnan ji, yes you are right. i have an interesting thought. it is not a grand discovery but nevertheless interesting. Guest guest
Very interesting fact Santhosh jee. But is it a linear (monotonic) change or is it cyclical like the annual rate of precession (of Synetic vernal point)? In other words does the slowing fluctuates over a very very long time? By the way, and this could be arguable, I believe Usha Sashi (?) indicates the abbreviated ahargana as 74640 days before 1-1-2010. Lahiri gives the first date of current series as 18 feb 3102 BCE. You will have to take it from there...
