But dear brothers -- if you are bent upon using the lenticular analogy, while

slower and less convenient, a zoom lens is way lower in quality of the image

than a single focal length lens! Dedication sure is way supreme to convenience!

Even when one is trying to follow a ritual or remedy!

I personally prefer the 620 format of film (Kodak Brownie Box) than the more

square 120 format (Agfa Clik III) or the film format that was/is used by

Rolleiflex/Rolleicord/Seagull/Bronica/Hasselblad cameras!

Of course there is the 8x10 and larger formats such as the breath-taking shots

taken by Ansel Adams and the likes of him!

But how much larger the format of the film that captures the IMAGE can get

beyond ASTROLOGY? With all the colours and details and the ability to EDIT the

image in the darkroom, not to cheat but to bring out the details and beauty of

MA Nature even more?

Dear Shri Rohini Ji and Sursh Ji

Lal Kitab, observed to be more of tantric influenced was only a passing

reference.Where as Jyotish covers for Tazik also is necessary course.Original

sctipt in Persian.

Tajik transalated by Pandit E.S Neelakant Sastrgal was having origin in urdu

and Persian.Today ofcourse we take interest in Varshaphal.

" Ittesal " and " Muntha " always signified fulfilment of wish.desire.

How did Omar Quyyam is not put on the same pedestal?Urdu certainly a sweet

language and the beauty lies in Ghazals,Mushairas and Quawwalis.

If Urdu seems 'marsian' (you meant martian, perhaps?) you must really take the

time to enjoy Mirza Ghalib and Bahadurshah Zaffar and other Urdu poets and

writers, Suresh_jee!

It is a beautiful language and if you ever have a chance to hear someone who is

speaking nafees Urdu, you will enjoy the genteel beauty of the language!

Whether one follows it or not, it provided some insights into various systems

and probably  life style conditions in those areas where the system was

propagated.

Jyotish as practiced and accepted today has become more inclusive than

Astrology! It has embraced Indian and mid-eastern disciplines and other

disciplines!

Now, I will leave it to you and Suresh ji to make JYOTISHIS more inclusive and

accepting ... ;-)

I am still waiting for more information on the ICAS Database! :-)

Dear Brothers.

It is true.Sure and undoubtedly !while the biginnig was so.But when I went to

see Nishad Gardens: " there is the 8x10 and larger formats such as the

breath-taking shots " was a prized possession.Even now I have it but in dumb

state due to lack of rolls.

I still believe lenticular analogy has some thing more creativity than today

" gizmos "

No doubt in today's parlance Image and Format are getting inter related even

though dark room efforts are fading to give room to Photo Smart Modes.

Thankx to technolgy that drives the beasts and helps to understand Cosmos.

Rolleiflex/Rolleico rd/Seagull/ Bronica/Hasselbl ad cameras!

Dear Krishnan Dada,

If you wish to take pictures that you can remember for a long time, REALLY focus

on the picture and not the equipment!

Krishna Ji, Have you got Rama Bana?

Lal Kitab, Tazik, Jyotish (traditional?), Urudu, Persian, Varshapal

and yes Omar Qayam

Qawalis......

in one shot.

Seriously, though, Lal kitab I think has Tazik influence - must be.

Tajik transalated by Pandit E.S Neelakant Sastrgal was having origin in urdu

You meant, I hope, where I was coming from...?

A very dear friend who was very close, like a brother back in mid 70s when we

were both students in BHU suddenly appeared earlier today and as we reconnected

he shared a poem after we exchanged news about who died over the last few

decades while we lost track of each other, and our realities, and rekindled

earlier shared moments:

Har Jhulaa Puchta hai nanhay se ..Kahanse Aaya-ho?

Har Kafan Puchta hai Insaan se .. Kahan Jana hai?

Jevan maran ke rahasya kaun jaane \

Maray huay murday ko dekhkar...

Sir,

the .2 percent room for error had been mentioned for courtesy sake.

we are perfectionists to the core.

thanks for correcting.

now I SAY, RATHER CLAIM WITH AUTHORITY THAT IT IS 100 PERCENT CORRECT.

Re: 1941 lalkitab exact transliteration RAR

So there is some 0.2% doubt that it may not be " ORIGINAL " !

There we go again!

Why not 100%? How can you be sure that it is <almost> 99.8% true? Are we again

running into the " 82% phenomenon " that I have often written about?

When will we stop throwing around percentages recklessly without having or

offering the evidence (one would if one could!!)?

Sir RR ji;

However it is a different matter as Nana Patekar put it in Tiranga " Sau Mein Se

Nianvein Beimaan, Phir Bhi Mera Bharat Mahan''

At least your goodself would agree, this one percent error should remain.

Dear Kulbir Bains,

It seems you are very enthusiastic of Lal Kitab (no offence).

Can you write about the fundamental difference between Traditional Indian

Astrology (like parashara, Mihiracharya, Jaimini etc)  & this system? (not

regarding remedies) in pure Astrlogical terms.

Sir,

//It seems you are very enthusiastic of Lal Kitab (no offence). //

Why should i feel offended. I am Proud.

Of course i will try to write about uniqueness of lalkitab to remove some

misconceptions.

//Can you write about the fundamental difference between Traditional Indian

Astrology (like parashara, Mihiracharya, Jaimini etc) & this system? (not

regarding remedies) in pure Astrlogical terms.

i will write about the similarities and difference between lalkitab and

traditional indian astrology.

not about any particular school of thought //parashara, Mihiracharya, Jaimini

etc//

because then i will have to answer some querry by some other member about Nadi.

KP. SA etc.

And i have no intention to be jack of all trades.

Ek Ke Saadhe Sab Sadhee ..........

i can understand why you told me to exclude remedies;

it is a misconception that lalkitab is a magic pot for all problems like

aladin's lamp. this is not true. once a person goes into detailed study of this

subject. he/she would think hundred times before running for remedies.

It is a complete system in itself; it has it's own grammar rules philosophy

tradition.

Unfortunately the commentaries and books titled like lalkitab ke tone totke have

brought about a low opinion among general people about this granth.

We had to lie low until now because original works were in urdu, that too stored

by people for personal use, translations were full of mistakes.

But now it is pay back time. we have exact transliterations/transcripts to which

anybody can refer.

Regards

Kulbir Bains.
