Guest guest
Dear Desi Raja ji, No. Lal Kitab has nothing to do with Ravan or his sanhita or any thing Tantrik in spirit. Lal Kitab remedies are completely and absolutely Satvik in nature. Not only that the Lal Kitab along with satvik remedies recommends a very pious and virtuous way of life also. Lal Kitab is in the great tradition of Indian astrology. This Paddhati came to be known as Lal Kitab because the book published during early 40s had a red colour binding. This astrology tradition had been practiced in the isolated regions of the Northern Himalayas till it was made popular after Pt. Roopchand Joshi wrote books on this Paddhati. Since the knowledge had evolved for centuries in isolation, it had developed a slightly different idiom of expression. For any one well versed with the traditional Indian astrology, it doesn't take much effort to familiarise himself with the Lal Kitab paddhati. Sincerely, Girish Raheja , " Raja " <desi.raja wrote: > > I also have read somewhere that lalkitab similar to ravan samhita > being a provider of tamsik remedies although it provides good and > quick solutions it adds up a heavy debt to be cleared later in the > life or later karmic cycle i.e.. if not this birth possibly next > birth. > > , " jk.dasgupta " > <jk.dasgupta@> wrote: > > > > Dear RRji, > > > > Jup + Ketu in 12th house in rashi should be bad for marriage, and > very good > > for spirituality. Guest guest
Hello, I got intrigued by this line of discussion, though I followed the discussion of only today. I have Rahu in the 12th and Venus and Moon as well and have been married nearly 9 years with 2 kids. DOB 31/10/73 Chandigarh, 12:39 PM Though 2008 has been the absolute worst year in my life esp Aug-Dec, it had nothing to do with marriage, which infact has been always very good. Guest guest
, I shall let the experts handle this query of yours! Guest guest
Dear , Guru in lagna is a blessing and sufficient to take one out from all troubles, as Jupiter is karaka for lagna. Moreover, Rahu is debilitated, of course it is getting neechabhanga - being in exalted navamsa. That is good, as Rahu is your chara Atma Karaka (AK) also. Again, the 2nd lord from upapada (arudha of 12H) is Jupiter. He being in Lagna will always protect your marriage. You should wear a pokhraj or yellow topaj in your right hand ring fingure. (PS for others: Jupiter in Lagna or 7H in Navamsa will obstruct marriage. Look at the chart of the famous singer Lata Mangeshkar.) And thank you for posting your birthdata. On academic interest, I would request you to answer some questions. 1. Venus is your Darakaraka, and is in Gandanta (junction of a watery and fiery sign). Is there any problem with your spouse's health? Or, is there any problem, which does not allow you to get complete sustainance from your spouse. Mind that the word `sustainance' may mean various starting from `financial support' to `attention' 2. You are presently running Moon-Ven dasa since May'2008. Venus being you chara Darakaraka, it will act as AK period for your spouse. Is the problem you mentioned, is related to your spouse having a trying period? These are the theories, which I have got chance to test only on few cases - but most times the results proved them. Lastly, Rahu is your Atma Karaka. Such people are generally become very spiritual (Ramakrishna Paramhansa or Srila Prabhupada Prabhupada). From July'2017 you will be entering Rahu mahadasha. This will be a very trying period for you. If you are not already, you must go towards spirituality, else Rahu will force you to go. A malefic AK is like a strict teacher with a stick in hand, who will not hasitate to beat the student if instructions are not followed. Guest guest
Dear Jk.dasgupta ji,  Rahu in 12th can give results for 7th as well as 3rd house and that too..benefic.  Also rahu in 12th house will represent the planets of sign lord as well as nakshtra lord of 12th house.  Rahu can step in for navamsa lord if it is incapable for any event.  So all these factors should be taken while calculating results fro Rahu in 12th house.  Regards Anup   --- On Fri, 2/1/09, jk.dasgupta <jk.dasgupta wrote: jk.dasgupta <jk.dasgupta RE: Re: guru chandala yoga Friday, 2 January, 2009, 12:16 PM Rahu is 12th either, probably not good for marriage - but definite give inclination for more materialistic comforts. Guest guest
Interesting concept Dasguptaji! The malefic AK being the strict teacher! I doubt really if strict teachers ever leave behind any lasting knowledge... Gandhiji had Jupiter as AK placed in the 7th Hitler, on the other hand had venus as AK in the 7th as well Ansel Adams the great photographer had mars as Ak in 3rd Madonna (the modern one) with her Rahu AK in 3rd does not seem too unhappy or beaten (though she did try sanskrit slokas and got beaten for blasphemy!) And yet the suicidal person in message 108334 in VA forum had AK as moon in taurus! Guest guest
Dear RRji, The concept of AK, as I have been taught - is to take us away from the material world and lead us to spiritual path. When the AK is benefic, the process is mild. But when it is malefic - the process can be terrible if the native denies to become spiritual. The more malefic is the AK, more is the spiritual developement. The problem will occur with the signification of the house where AK sits. For AK to work, its mahadasa has to come. The AK mahadasa is always trying. I have Jup as AK in 10H. I faced lot of proble with my proffession during that period. That is the period I came in contact with Swami Chinmayanandaji and learnt Upanishad & Gita directly from him. This is the period when I started laerning jyotish. Each AK specifies a certain teaching in a life. You may please refer to the article of Pt. Sanjay Rath at http://srath.com/lessons/advanced/ak.htm Regarding the persons you have mentioned, my comments are, Gandhiji: He entered his AK dasa in in 1940 only at later of his life and if you study his life more.. you will know how this period affected his 7H matters. Hitler: He passed his AK dasa till 1907 and the problem about his love and marriage is well known. Adams: I do not have his data Madona: I have chart of one Madona born on 16.08.1958, 07:05 AM, 83 W 53, 43 N 36 (5:00W). I do not know if this the same Madona, but here I see AK is Sun in 12H maranakaraka. Guest guest
Thank you Rohini ji, Raja ji and Dasgupta ji for your input. Dasgupta Ji...as far as the questions you asked... My spouse doesnt really have a health problem, his back hurts at times but nothing is wrong with it. Currently we are both having a career crisis and that leads to financial one but prior to this, except for his having multiple job changes we have not had any " lack of sustainenece " issues. But I always feel on exile or like I want to be in India with our families and that never happens and I always feel torn and punished for being so far away even though in the material sense nothing has ever lacked till now. Even now inspite of the problems we have a rock solid backing of finance. As far as attention...I think I get that from everyone. Its like honey to the bees whether I like it or not. Since July we are both having a trying period but my spouse is more resilient, i'm getting impacted negatively as I go through mood swings and get upset and I've noticed that happens more when moon is waxing. Would you be able to tell when this hellish period will get over? We both have options and that is a good thing and the struggle is more so as we are both vying for dream jobs/career choices. I am spiritual. There has always been a very strong pull, esp after 1996. There is also always a conflict on what to take care of first. Just materialistic things dont give me fulfilment. A part of me wants to teach and work in social endeavors but it just is not happening, plus there is an unknown desire and the heart and mind is confused. Guest guest
Dear , Now you are running Moon-Ven dasa from May'2008 to Jan'2010. Ask you husband to take care of health during this period. Small health issues may become big now - if neglected. This period will be quite trying for your husband, I wrote earlier. In navamsa, your Moon (mind) is in Cancer, the natural 4th house of zodiac. 4th house is the house of teaching, nurturing, caring. That is why you are interested in teaching and working in social environment. Where ever Moon is sitting in navamsa, the mind will be there. However, that may not be always the right proffession to follow. Ont only teaching, probably writing also is another wish in your mind. No doubt, you are spiritual. Persons with Rahu as Atmakaraka (AK) has to be. But your Rahu is debilitated. AK is the soul of a chart. When soul is debilitated, it is painfull. So your confussion and internal conflict is also understandable. Moreover, Rahu is with Moon. Rahu with Sun or Moon is an eclipse. In solar eclipse, Sun becomes powerless, and Rahu becomes powerfull. But what happens in lunar eclipse - is Rahu gets finished. That is why - any mantra sadhana in lunar eclipse does not bear any fruit, because success in mantra sadhana is not possible without blessings of Rahu. You have to make your AK strong. Do this jyotirlinga mantra, " Om Namah Shivaya Nageswaraya', for 45 days, atleast 27 times a day to begin with - in the morning. After that remind me at my mail id jk.dasgupta , I shall send you one bija mantra to be added with it. You also have 3 curses from some of your previous births, where your AK is also getting involved. Curse of mother, spouse and unkle or relatives. So Venus, Moon & Mercury are involved. Do not get upset, I myself has got 3 very strong curses and I am still alive :-). And have faith, your curses will go easily. This above mantra will not only make you feel better, but will also help to remove the curses. And do not forget to wear a good flawless pokhraj of about 4 carats. Make sure that the pokhraj is not heat treated. Such a pokhraj will cost you about Rs. 35000 INR. Wear it in the ring fingure of your right hand on any thurday morning immideatly after sunrise. Before wearing the ring, put it in raw milk previous night. Another thing, worship Durga Mata regularly. Keep one photo of Durga Mata at your puja place. Most probably you already like to worship Her. Your Ista Devata is Hanuman. But it is Durga Mata only - who will show you the correct path in this life, will guide you to your Ista Devata, give you material success and will give you all - what you want. Guest guest
Dear Dasgupta ji, Thank you for your analysis and recommendations. I will do the recommended mantra. I am a cautious person anyways and will take due diligence of my husband's health. It was surprising you mentioned Lord Hanuman as anytime I have been in stress in life, I have always done the hanuman chalisa path 100 times daily for days and have always seen my troubles vanish or take a meaning not stressful.
