However, in practice, KSY is not all that black and white and not even properly documented *classically* and that is why some of the modern teachers such as KN Rao (I hope I am not misquoting him!) do not believe that KSY should be given any credence. After mid March 2009 he should feel less pressure in terms of earnings. Currently he is experiencing the joint period of sun and rahu and has been betrayed by friends and those that he trusted would help. After third week of March 2009 things will begin to improve. Astrologers like KN Rao, BV Raman etc rejected this yoga outright(though in his book of 300 combinations Shree Raman has included this Yoga). Late PS Shastri quoted a proof, which was however, meant for mundane astrology, not for natal horoscopy. If a strong believer is asked about the classical proof or proof from any text of KSY, they are nowhere. As rightly said by Shree KN Rao " KSY only helps those quacks & half baked mushrooms to get some money by conducting some upayas or shanti " . Kethu, mars and venus are in 5th house and raghu in 11th house. I have heard different opinions about this for me. So i don't know if i have KSY or not. Could you please help me understand? If all planets are in its path of movement, it 'eats' them. View it as a python or ajagar (maybe should have been called KAAL AJGAR YOGA!). If however a planet is placed in the same sign as rahu, then that planet 'chokes' the demon rahu and the remaining planets are spared. NO KSY in that case! Now consider this: If rahu is not hungry, it will not eat all planets even when KSY conditions are met (all planets between the nodes and nodes alone in their houses) or at worst may just 'nibble' them! Now how to figure out whether rahu is hungry or not in a chart? This is where your guru or teacher would be the best person to guide you since I do not wish to turn this forum into a school or classroom! As far as I am concerned it is okay for more than one astrologers to answer to a reading request. It does not indicate anything negative but rather has an additive effect which can only benefit the nativity or the person asking questions. Obviously one would never put down someone else's reading etc, which unfortunately I have seen being done on the jyotish forums and creates problems. So please go ahead sir and respond to Jaya who had asked you by name. Who knows I may learn a thing or two too from what you write. Also, I am a very ordinary person, and certainly not an astrologer of note -- just a hard-working ant!
