Who is Sarlo? I looked up the name and found a few lists where

the name Sarlo appeared but which one is Anna not a member of?

And - to stick to the point - without previous warning ;))

Since this is a forum where one can speak ones nonexisting

mind without being banned let me add that people do things

like that disgusts the me which does not exist deeeply and

fills it with majestic contempt.

Fear? Ah -- a sort of Kafkasian fear? J'accuse vous of not

participating in the holy meal instead stealing bread from

it and forwarding it to the breadless poor on other Klists

Ha.

Self-loathing? No, it strengthened " me " - because you see,

idiots are idiots and the best thing can happen to members

of idiotic societies is actually to be expelled from them,

it saves one the hard work heh heh and " my " contempt grew

to immense heights.

Yes... by peeing and shitting all over the temple and by making it stink so bad

that it difficult for others to sing bhajans, meditate, talk spirituality or to

offer pujas.

Sorry, Hur... I see no excuse in " tolerating " Bob except maybe, the moderator's

laziness and lack of time.

It is both your duty and responsibility to set and declare a code of conduct for

the forums and declare it so that people aren't shocked when they hear

" Asshole " , " I like licking your ass " in response to their messages. I don't

think it is fair to ask other people to do it for yourself by asking them to

vote.

I don't think it is fair for a teacher to ask his students to vote on whether a

kid who repeatedly spits on others should be removed from class or not.

I don't think it is fair for a manager to ask his team-members to vote on

whether a man who repeatedly harasses female and male employees should be

removed or not.

If you don't have time, maybe, you should temporarily make someone else

moderator and your problem will be likely solved.

This one might be quite simple, Hur Jee!

Bob was removed from NDS.

(NondualitySalon/?yguid=181049836

Members: 1198)

Bon was removed from GuruRatings.

( GuruRatings/

Members: 1691 )

And, as you say Bob was also removed from this list.

These three are among very few (maybe, " only " other than Advaitin) forums in

nonduality area with so many (1000+) members.

Out of these three, because of his 'past record', Bob is very unlikely to be

allowed to post freely on GuruRating or NDS. That leaves only this forum where

there are many members and where he is relatively free to pee and shit all over

as long he doesn't offend the moderator directly .

With much respect,

P: ac, give it up! Hur has spoken, He thinks

Bob is the most useful member in this list. It

is his list, not yours. Accept what you can't

change, no? No one should be insulted by words.

You are only showing that you haven't see that

yet.

ac, i agree with you. i know bob is offending but think about it...what's most

shocking than non-duality for the dualist mind? it's scandalous. among the most

shocking people of all, nondualists fans, bob is elementary. it's all tolerated

here to a certain extent.

oh golly ac..

i guess i didn't make myself clear.

i really don't care what you think.

and you've gone to all this work.

i really don't care about that either.

LOL!

p.s.

now lets see below the little ac analysis of the word twerp.

let's see how he can make it a " foulmouthed' word.

isn't it interesting ac that it's been you..

that has been most foulmouthed lately?

look back you little twerp and you'll see.

but frankly i don't care about that either

LOL!

so here's ac going to town on the lowdown of " twerp " .

isn't it astonishing that he had to look it up for God's sake?

Dear Hur Jee:

I think repeated, unwarranted " verbal insults " , " verbal abuses " are indicative

of certain 'personality types' and are only few steps removed from real physical

violence. I think these are 'warning signs' that something is deeply wrong with

the person using it.

What can happen when others start returning... 'fire for fire'?

My views on what is " virtual " and what is " real " and what is " online " versus

what is real-life, changed dramatically, when...

....I read one man threaten to visit another and break his head open.

and, when the other threatened to print that " threat letter " and take it to

police!

Virtual and real could intersect quite easily.

On these forums, I saw other instances of...

.... people visiting each other.

.... men and women deciding to live together.

.... somebody maligning someone else online and in response, that person

publishing offender's real name, address and personal history on many forums and

websites.

....another instance of someone threatening to talk to lawyer and to file a

complain.

After all this, I realized that " real " and " virtual " aren't totally separate and

that all 'warning signs' should be heed in time. Excessive, repeated,

unwarranted verbal abuse can be a sign of an angry, emotionally disturbed,

unstable personality and due to this reason, I think such behavior should be

considered " off limit " on " spiritual " forums.

With much respect,

ac

Hi AC -

Well, the way Hur runs this list has the advantage that you are free to express

yourself about another poster - just as you did above.

You can speak your truth freely and openly.

You can choose to respond to Bob or not respond to Bob.

You can focus on what someone else says, and ignore Bob, if you choose.

So, isn't that one of the positives about this list, the way Hur is running it?

Also, hasn't it added to the list that recently Hur has let his voice be heard

more consistently?

Hi AC -

I agree that the line can get blurry between " in person/real life " and

" fictional/virtual " communications.

I agree with your examples, and could add more - but won't.

It makes sense to be aware of such things as one posts and responds on line - or

as one decides not to post or not respond.

Or as one decides not to moderate a list anymore, which is a decision I made a

few years ago - lol.

Well, one thing about this list - it certainly shows the " attraction to

personalized responding " ...

And that tendency to go for personalizing, shows where human emotion goes, and

what drives the " personal reality. "

One can say over and over that " reality is impersonal " - but that just becomes a

belief system. Meanwhile the emotions that drive human understanding gravitate

to formation of a person reality with a " personal understander of it " - based on

emotions, the past ...

Bob eggs this on - he enjoys stirring it up.

So, why not step back, and observe what happens?

Be clear on it ...

Love to All -
